eh?
Yeah, fair enough. But you have to question if Microsoft would be doing the same things regarding QC had they not been burnt (badly) by the failure rate of the 360.
At least it looks like they have learnt from mistakes in the past.
@Seraphim. Well said. But if I can just correct you on one small point. The other 999 aren't waiting on writing a review. They're sitting playing their PS4 with absolutely no problems at all. Having worked in retail electronics, I can tell you that every new piece of technology that comes out has teething problems. No exceptions. The PS4's problems just now are minor setbacks caused by a manufacturing industry run by money-grabbers and by a workforce who are over-worked and underp...
Yeah, let's read a review from a website that blatantly says it played the game with cheats activated. And then it goes on to say the game rushes you into things?
Surely it was the fact that the cheats were activated that made you rush into things, probably because you had a God Mode enabled.
Is this the same pushlists that most, if not all, Backup Managers currently on the PS3 wipe after quitting?
You know you can use Hotspot Shield on your PC to disguise your location, don't you? My brother lives in Canada and he uses it to watch all the content over here.
I was forced to take mine apart after getting YLOD. I just blew the dust out with compressed air before re-pasting the processors. Fixed my YLOD in the oven. Actually worked! Now running quieter than ever before. I have an NTSC-J 60Gb phat so no fan-test for me (even the upside down thing doesn't work!)
The bit that I remember most about this Masterpiece is near the end, and I'll keep it Spoiler-free, when you barely make it across the Ravine. You know, that bit?
I remember sitting watching the cut-scene after that, open-mouthed with a huge lump in my throat.
It was one of the first and only games that I have played that really sucked you in and made you feel about what your were doing in the world.
Outstanding.
Could it also be the fact that the VAST majority of Xbox 360 onwers are repeat-owners? By that I mean, they've bought 2,3,4 or even 5 consoles due to RRoD.
How about a Shadow of Rome update? Gladitorial combat, eviscerating people and of course, proper decapitation. Then you have to raise your arms for the crowds approval.
I loved the original and would love to see it updated.
Also, how about a Flight Sim, using the Move as the joystick?
Apparently it's been out for some time and the only problem I've had playing sound on movies is with a few Disney rips. However, play them through PS3 Media Streamer and use the Encoder and they work fine.
I've got hundreds of DVD and Blu-Ray rips on a Network Hard Drive and don't anticipate any problems in the future.
Hell, it's probably already been cracked and incorporated into the latest ripping software.
Wonder if Angry Birds will be Move compatible?
I work for PC World and we've supplied five local primary schools with the Brain Training pack over the last year and a half.
Watch any episode of Spartacus - Blood and Sand and tell me Peter Mensah wouldn't make an amazing Kratos!
And thoroughly enjoyed them. There's no greater (or scarier) experience than Dead Space in a pitch black room with Full Dolby Digital.
The thing that bugs me about it is that Stargate is an ideal premise for a game.
Just think about it, any different world is accessible from earth so you can have any environment at your fingertips, leading to massive space battles between gliders, F-302s and the heavy cruisers.
Think Halo meets Freespace 2.
It'd be day one for me!
(I know Battlefront is like that but it could be so much better, wothout being constrained by Lucas' Universe)
Sorry. That should've read - us,us,us!
Can't say I've heard of it but I'll give it a try!
If you haven't played the original Dead Space in a pitch black room with full Dolby Digital, you haven't lived....
Follow the links above to log in to the Store on your PC. You can then buy whatever you want and it'll automatically be added to your download list for your PS4 (when you get it). Just bought the upgrade for AC:IV.
Literally cannot wait for Friday now!
