I don't understand where the hate for this is coming from. It looks good, it looks like it plays good and personally, I would rather have a fuller, livelier Paris than an emptier one with prettier graphics to see all the empty spaces.
Also, I notice that it now has the "last sighted" outline of Shadow of Mordor. Who's copying who, now?
When it was first released, they said it was impossible to do on the PS3. So how the hell have they managed to get it running on the Vita?
My console is sitting black just now, whereas before it had the orange stripe.
I thought it was because I had the DS4 charging settings set to 3 hours? I've never had a problem switching my machine on since the update.
Surely, they're not seeing that as a brick? (although technically, it's not a brick and is easily retrievable)
Decent game, it just wasn't as good as the trailers made out. Plus, the whole "hours until you're actually an assassin" kinda ruined it for me.
A whole lot more could have been made out of Connor. They just didn't take the opportunity.
I'm the same. We both seem to be part of the "sane" N4G members who have this crazy notion that you don't HAVE to be a fanboy to enjoy games.

@Kreshi - Can you point out which bit in the article it states that Sony have badmouthed Microsoft? It seems like this is a Tesco-only bundle. I fail to see why this is Sony's fault (if there is any fault).
Remember - competition is a great thing. But the way a company grows (and Sony seriously needs to start growing again) is to offer something different and better than your competitor.

Nobody has mentioned the fact that there is a time limit on the game you are sharing. IIRC you're only allowed 60 minutes. Granted, you can reconnect after that 60 minutes, but is that not a huge pain in the arse?
OK. so it's fairly obvious that I have never played any of the Demon's/Dark Souls games.
That being said, I can only put my point of view forward after watching what I saw on the video and to me it looks like another hack and s;ash game.
Going from the comments above, there looks to be more to it than that.

True, true. I have however played a lot of God of War, Devil May Cry, Heavenly Sword and every other identikit hack n slasher released since the good ol' PS1 days. It just seems like it's all been done before.
Granted, this is pre-release so it might change and that giant spider creeps the sh1t out of me, but I think I'll leave this one to you hardcore guys.

Looks good, but gameplay looks a little stale and I was begging him to tiptoe by the end of it. The clip-clop of his boots were doing my head in!
I'm all for great framerate and 1080p but, honestly, this is the kind of gameplay we were slagging off Ryse for! (without the QTEs)
Can't we move away from the standard hack and slash? It's Next Gen for christs sake!

Everything he does in that trailer screams Nathan Fillion. From the way he gets up, to the way he shakes his head and rubs his eyes, all the way to the way he stumbles off into the jungle. It's like they mo-capped him.
I do admit Joe Flanagan would be a good call for a younger version, though.
