Sony need to drop 1.71 patch to fix 1.70 fast!
...I hate that my game saves are currently not 'automatically' uploading to the Cloud. I have to manually update for now ;/
OT
I hope this patch fixes it for those enjoying the game :)
Xbox Gold should always have been only be applicable to MP only from day 1, or at least from the day Sony's PS+ landed.
For many years, MS have been fully aware gamers thought the 360 version of Xbox Live had a major disparity compared to PS3 PS+, yet MS proceeded with the very same model for X1 anyway, minus the free games.
MS needs to follow the PS+ model and allow Apps/F2P Gaming, Netflix etc without subscription...and hurry up with GWG for X1 already ...
@WeAreLegion >LOL "Well Said"
The whole 'Resolution Debate' is played out like an old Banjo ;/
MS/Developers will (in time) improve X1's Resolution. Just like PS3's Cell techniques & split memory management improved (universally) 6 or 7 years ago.
It takes approx 18 months - 2 years to filter down to development studios due to the (variable) nature of game development schedules. Intricacies take time to iron o...
Super bad idea MS....
I think MS wants in on the whole 'Remote play' thing. MS needs to win more hearts 'n minds with X1 around the globe, before developing a dedicated Handheld.
Unless it's some kind of 'Hosting' device that 'only' does Remote Play. Otherwise, I think this could be Mr. Spencer's first big Boo-Boo in charge of Xbox division ;/

Since there is no 'Hardware' to be revealed @E3, the event should mostly be about 'Games'. But, I have a sneaky feeling Sony (and MS) will be showing us developments regarding TV programming and other media related things.
I don't mind, so long as the reveals are short segments and the focus is kept on Games. Sony just need to wow us with awesome AAA games, keep the Indie stuff separate and short.
I'm predicting an official Sony Access...
We have 2 TV sets in our house, and I've tried PS4 games running @1080p on both...
The 42' LG looks great sitting at a good (6ft) distance away. But our 50' LG Screen shows the best with Infamous SS & MGS 5 Phantom Pain and I sit 4ft away. None of the jaggy old pixels around the edge of everything like in PS3/360 generation.
It really does make a difference if you sit close, that's how you can tell if it's quality :)
@Nitrowolf2
Agree...plus on some games 60fps is completely unnecessary. Sports, Fighting & FPS games play way better @60fps.
60fps is nice of course, but when making sacrifices on extremely visually demanding games, then I'd be happy having a steady 30fps.
> Infamous, The Order 1886 & Driveclub just as an example :)
@Give_me_whatever_strong
'But the Killzone Ray Path technique only reflects on flat surfaces, it isn't advanced enough....'
Wat!! Really??!!
WTF!!!
Think I'm gonna trade my PS4 and my Apartment for a Super Computer Rendering Station, the type they use for Hollywood CGI. Sure I seen them on sale for about $90,000.
Thanks for the advice!

I'm really looking forward to this...my only concern is in the game play trailer you can see the draw distance is fogged into the distance. Could be Dynamic Weather. ...is there dynamic weather in the game?
It's out in the fall, so there's time to improve S.O. :)
Killzone Shadowfall's Ray-Tracing techniques made the environmental lighting and reflections look extremely natural.
Nice demo! :)
@GhostNappa
You're getting Disagree's but what you typed is legit.
I know you own X1, and so do I, and I'll concur, Ryse IS linear. Linear on a similar level to GOW3, except due to variety, I enjoyed GOW3 more. There definitely are framerate issues. Sometimes it feels like Ryse drops to sub 20fps.
Ryse is even better when you watch someone else play, but after you've seen the 100th execution, I defy anyone not to feel a little...
Well that's awesome Crytek are sharing the knowledge with other Developers, or selling it as part of their Middleware tools.
They're probably not sharing all the secrets due to 'competitiveness', just the techniques regarding the breaking of the bandwidth issues that bridge X1's eSRAM and the 8GB DDR3 Ram.
Important that Xbox One is performing @1080p/60fps where possible. That's where gen 7 should be IMO.
In the words of the infamous Axios.... 'Dat PS4+Quantic Dreams= Cutting Edge Visuals' LoL ;0)
Edit
@Skankinruby & Monolith
Yup that idiota spoiled Heavy Rain for me too! ...actually commented who the killer was 1 day before my pre-order arrived!!! Still enjoyed the experience :)
Unlocked totally feels better in my experience with the PS4 games I've played, that have the option.
I don't believe it's 60fps locked, but if Watchdogs runs between 45-60fps?, I would really be extremely impressed! :)
Titanfall is a good game, I still enjoy it. If it did release on PS4, I wouldn't buy it just for 1080p/60fps.
I don't see the value in buying for my PS4 as well for such a small enhancement, unless I trade it ;/
Totally agree :)
Every console ever made has gone through software optimization...
It's hardly a 2014 thing ;/
All this cloud BS crap from the fanboys '..Just wait, just wait, the cloud is gonna kill ps4'. Just go's to show how many fanboy idiots live and die by MS sword.
You won't find many of those 'idiots' commenting in this thread, but 'they're here' in a stealth capacity LOL
Y'all should have kept it real like me and just accepted the X1 for what it can do. I still got love for mine :)
1080/60fps would be silky, silky, milky, milky smooth!
..but I won't get my hopes up, since I'm sure Ubi already confirmed 1080/30fps on PS4.
But I'm hoping it's me that's made the mistake, not Sony ;/
Woooop!!!! :)
It's always been a good time to buy a Wii U. I've been on the Wii U train since day 1!!
...Choo, Choo!!
