Yup, understandable they were limited with Xbox 360 for Witcher 2 (PS3 could have handled it, CDPK were under resourced) as 360 was then already 5 year old hardware and peaking like a duck.
But, I'm more interested in the difference's (if any) between PC, Xbox One & PS4 versions. The Witcher 3 looks like a super demanding game, visually and in scope.
MS need to lower Xbox One's price to £329.99 GBP and $399 USD and include 2 free downloadable games e.g. Forza 5/Titanfall with 3 months free Xbox Live.
That's the only way they can compete with PS4 now...and it could happen within 12 months if sales continue to slump.
PS4 is a runaway success and for all the right reasons. Gaming feels like it's going to be pure again.
For the price, the IP's and the power, the PS4 could quite possibly end up being Sony's Best Console Ever :)
It's worth buying @399 with Titanfall inc. at least in the UK and for Xbox fans waiting for a price drop anyway.

I'm not an Xbox supporter (got PS4) but these recycled news stories serve no purpose any more. Yup, we all know PS4 is more powerful, kicking butt and taking names, but enough already.

PS4 needs HDCP removal for video recording, I would like to see youtube game uploads direct from the system, and I wouldn't mind my own music playlist over games. PS4 also needs that annoying (IMO) light bar turn on/off option, and the battery might last longer for me. It could also do with more apps like ps3. Where's all the catch up TV stuff and Vidzone?
I think PS4 needs a FW update, but that's just one Girls opinion, and you have yours, which I respect and won...
I'm just sick to death of the whole rez thing. If the people didn't know, very few would complain. Sometimes, some information is not particularly helpful or useful in life. 'Resolutiongate' is in nobody's interests, and serves only to divide gamers.

Say what you like about Xbox One, but at least they get significant firmware updates. I'm still waiting for the 'big' PS4 one.
TBH I knew it was sarcasm from the title. I mean, how could a 2D game with pseudo 3D not be able to perform at 1080p on Xbox One. That would be insanely damaging to the console.

Xbox One is more than capable of outputting amazing experiences. The whole 720/900p thing is fanboy rhetoric. The average gamer can't tell the difference, only those who have little to do all day over hype the disparities.
I have chosen PS4 purely for the games, not the framerates or resolutions. The whole thing is silly fanatical fanboy nonsense.

Digital only is on the Agenda of every publisher/developer. Ken Levine & Cliffy B are prime examples. The indie scene is being funded/promoted to help ease and usher in this agenda.

I respect this Peter Molyneux for his contributions to gaming over the years, but he is overly ambitious in his craft. Rarely does anything he puts out, ever live up to his own hype.

I'm saying, had CD Projekt the resources at the time of Witcher 2's development, then PS3 could have handled a version of it too.
