I tend to think so. I've yet to be impressed by any terrain that's been generated procedurally.
Does not mean what you think it means.
Funny how you got three replies and no one bothered to point out that the first three games have been ported to iOS.
They're called "toys" and they're good for children.
Maybe. It's certainly going to be a big year for Nintendo platforms in general, especially (for me) if they localize the new Ace Attorney game. But for the WiiU specifically? Eh, I'm not entirely sold on Xenoblade yet--really didn't care for the combat system of the first game.
And it still seems the PC is going to have the best time of it. So many huge indy KS titles coming out in 2015.
I hope you don't mean to imply that modern games are inherently in poor taste.
To rephrase your point somewhat, someone who has a more VARIED experience will have more refined tastes than someone who has a more homogenous experience. If you only play modern TPS games, you'll be much less aware--and therefore less likely to discover and potentially enjoy--an RTS or JRPG or whatever. Kind of like how us Americans can spend our lives eating tons of Chinese food at tons o...
Maybe. But the (new) PC version has achievements. So maybe it's a different list?
Honestly, it probably just refers to integrating the launcher options into the game proper.
I wonder how PS4-only gamers will take it. Most of the reception on Steam seemed to be people complaining about the music.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooo.......... veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery.......... .. slooooooooooooooooooooooow.... .................
I'd rather be able to customize, or even simply organize, the UI than the skin.
Yeah. Most developers are smart enough to NEVER sink so much money into a game that they won't be able to recover if it bombs.
Sadly, Suikoden 1 is merely good.
Now we just need need Suikoden III and Suikoden V to hit the PSN.
Disgaea 3 sold 470,000 + 240,000 (Vita port) worldwide.
Disgaea 4 sold 540,000 + 110,000 (Vita port) worldwide.
Disgaea D2 sold 180,000 worldwide.
And the first 2 Disgaea games only sold around 300,000 each.
Seems like the sales have been strong and steadily increasing for every game but D2, which seems to have bombed for some reason. No love for Laharl? Anyway, it seems pretty likely that Disgaea 5 will sell in the same 400k range as its imme...
You really should play one before saying something like that. Animal Crossing games have a really... fervent fanbase, but the actual games have less depth than tic-tac-toe.
But what do people want? A remake that is faithful to the original, or (as is the impression I get) a remake that adopts the same aesthetic and tone of Advent Children and the other melodromatic, even-less-coherent spinoffs?
I don't think we should be making any noise for a remake until Square-Enix can demonstrate that they're capable of making a game equally as good as it, or better; otherwise, they're more likely to destroy the legacy of FF7 than improve upon it...
No, they're not making it because they're a terrible developer. Squaresoft and Enix were great, but Square-Enix is mainly just a publisher. Sure, they'll finance the occassional new game (like Bravely Default), but they spend most of their money producing sequels to established brands and financing remakes of older games. That's their business model.
Why? Because: obviously.
Not sure SMTxFE is a valid game to bring up in favor of the WiiU, any more than FFvXIII was a valid reason in favor of the PS3: at this point, it may as well be vaporware.
...I can't tell if you genuinely believe that or not. If you do, please: play more RPGs.
I was defending the sentiments expressed, not the writing or grammar.
And a mediocre score is not a low score. A 6.5 is only clickbait if you're a fanboy.
Well, you're not going to get it. Mobile games and MMOs are the best we're likely to see.
