I regret bringing my Nintendo DS lite to school because someone stole it and I never got it back.
I regret selling my gameboy advance just for 20 dollars of store credit at the local video game shop just to buy 4 packs of Pokemon cards. I die a little on the inside whenever I think about it. I try not to.
I regret wasting my time with Final Fantasy 13 because it is honestly one of the worst games I've played this generation.
I don't know. I do love the Helghast more than the ISA. But at the same time, there's something about shooting the Helghasts that make the KZ games so much more fun to play. Shooting at the ISA might feel bland because well, they would make un-intersting looking enemies.
Yes, lets be "smart" and leave out violent movies, books, tv shows, etc.
Aw man, I completely agree with you. FF13 was a horrendous pile of trash. I couldn't finish that because of the character Vanielle.
Is anyone forgetting the unlimited supply of "New Super Mario Bros" sequels?
It's called offline multiplayer. Splitscreen in other words
Reading your comment makes me happy that I didn't buy BO2 on launch
That would be a complete mess. You wouldn't be able to bring a multiplayer game to a friend's house like CoD and have an offline party.
The Resistance series should be up there too. Such great atmosphere, universe, and enemies. I love the chimeran lore in the game. The enemy designs, alien weaponry, and the deadly aircraft. Outstanding franchise. The Resistance franchise is in my opinion, the best "alien invasion" fiction.
I completely agree with Final Fantasy 6 and Gears of War on the list too.
If it's on Unreal engine I'm pretty sure it's going to be an FPS or a TPS.
Pokemon is awesome!
Or at least that's what I would say 8 years ago.
Pokemon got completely out of whack for me when generation 4 came in. At that point I've realized that Gamefreak doesn't really care for the fans. They don't care about guys like me who have stuck with them since the Pokemon Red and Blue days. They just want to appeal to the newer generations.
"Hey, lets add 150 new Pokemon each game, and use the same formula! 8 badges and Elite 4. The end!"
How about an interesting story this time? May...
Yay a game about fillers! They pretty much read our minds on that one. Just what we all wanted
And EarthBound for the Virtual Console.
Trust me, it's not going to be released officially outside of Japan.
I'm sorry but what about all the people who play it fair like me, and can actually differentiate between reality and fantasy? What about the people who are over the age of 17 and are enjoying the violent video games for fun? They can't just suck away our fun just because the lowest common denominator decided to commit a horrendous crime.
With the ridiculous article aside, I think the only people that cheat in general are kids from ages ranging from 10-15. They just allure at the amount of points they're achieving on the screen, although they're not really achieving anything in reality. They're only cheating themselves.
6/10? No way. Without all the Capcom hate, I'm here to say that I actually downloaded and played the game quite a bit. It's really fun!
8/10 for me.
I was thinking of getting Mortal Kombat (2010) for my next fighting game. For those who haven't picked it up, you've got to check it out. Don't waste your time with these 3 poor selections by SEGA. Although Virtua Fighter 2 isn't all that bad.
Usually when a new system comes out, I become very skeptical and worried about how the system will turn out during it's life spam. That's why I get them when they are at their 3rd or 4th year of the cycle for the games catalog to grow.
Valve's SteamBox is one of those systems where I'm confident in getting it during it's first year of release.
