With all the money that Microsoft is making from their online services and from other industries, can't they at least put a little more effort on releasing some AAA exclusives. They have the budget for more "killer-app" franchises.

Yea lets all do the smart thing and "assume" that the WiiU has already won even though the PS4 and NextXbox hasn't been released yet. It's not like those systems are going to come out with any cutting-edge/revolutionary games right?
I think Sony has already convinced me enough to buy a PS4. After seeing the conference and seeing games like KZ4, Destiny, WatchDogs, and Knack. I have to say that I'm more than willing to buy it at launch date.

I'm probably the biggest Resistance fan on this website. I have to say that the Resistance franchise has some of the most interesting lore, universe, enemies, and atmosphere. It's amazing to see real life locations being invaded by a hostile and deadly alien force. The Resistance series really captured that true feeling of an "alien invasion."

It's sad that such a talented developer is developing a generic looking game like fuse. But hey, this could be a good thing! The game will probably bomb. Insomniac will blame EA. They'll go back to Sony and make Resistance 4 for the PS4. Sounds like a happy ending to me.

I expect positive reviews from exclusive games. I mean, if you look at it this way, "exclusive games" are pretty much a company's statement on showing "why you should buy X console over Y console."
If the exclusive games of a console have received poor reviews, then it's going to make it that much harder for me to buy the console. Good exclusives matter.
Who cares about Resident Evil anymore? It's dead to me and has been dead since RE5.

I prefer futuristic warfare games or alien invasion shooters. Brings more dynamic gameplay elements.
I have to agree with you. Even if they did keep the franchises alive, it would feel like a completely different game because it's a completely different development team.
Crytek are a bunch of graphical purists that don't know the definition of good gameplay, story, universe, etc.
These are the kinds of developers that truly think that graphics is what makes a great game. Crysis 2 was one of the most disappointing games I've played this gen.
That's outstanding. As much as I loved Fallout 3 and would've been blown away by a sequel announcement. This seems so much more delicious. You don't see big name companies give survival horror games a chance anymore. This is a great to see that a company like Bethesda is taking the opportunity to innovate.
I'm wondering what the gameplay will be like. Survival horror game with FO3/Skyrim style gameplay? That sounds robust and amazing to me.
The reason I deny this is because Microsoft hasn't said anything about their new console not being always offline and no BC. I mean, if they're getting this much negative press, wouldn't they do something about it than just sit there and let the negative hype train continue?

It's funny, when the game trailer first came out, all the gamers thought this was going to be the CoD killer and was going to be an outstanding title. It ended up being the most generic games of this gen. And the online is just terrible

I have excellent connection and the game still lagged up. The controls were clunky and the combat system was very bland because it was mostly melee attacks, and hours of monotone hack n' slash gameplay. Yes you did get guns but the bullets weren't as common. Again, the monotonous combat system didn't help either.

I still can't believe Dead Island sold more than R3. Dead Island is one of the worst games I've played this gen
I'd take a Singularity sequel over a CoD sequel any day. I don't think Activision will give a hoot about that series anymore which is sad because it was a really fun game.
Instead, we get another rehashed game that will hold the 60 dollar price tag for the next few years (something that it doesn't deserve.)
