@sashamaz
It's different from GTA in that GTA doesnt have the set goal of going out and killing innocent people because the main character hates the world. I personally dont take issue with the game because it is a game and I loved manhunt, and I generally hate the world - but not seeing why this is different from GTA makes it seem like you might play GTA for different reasons.
$hitstorm incoming.
I was just about to start playing in a little bit for the first time (on pc) - what all problems does it have at the moment? Im still working on alien and just started borderlands so if the problems are that bad I may wait for the fixes.
Mixed? Maybe youve seen some I havent but Ive seen a steady stream of 8s with just a couple of lower scores..
Do you remember the cheats you could use in turok 64? Man those were fun. Really extended the fun of the game after you beat it. Hardly any devs include stuff like that these days.
I dont know if its a good thing or a bad thing that so many companies are jumping on the VR bandwagon. I hope its a good thing though.
Yep as soon as I saw one paragraph per page I left. Desperation for clicks leads to no clicks sometimes.
I cant play it for more than an hour or 2 at a time. Now that the alien is stalking me my heart is constantly on the verge of exploding out of my chest. They really nailed the fear with this one. Ive never spent so much time in a locker...
Thats been my dilemma. I got into the beta a while back but wasnt about to upgrade (downgrade) to windows 8. Maybe try it out when windows 10 comes out...
I have to agree. The more skills you unlock combined with some very synergetic runes you begin to realize how well everything in the combat ties together. It takes a lot of batmans combat ideas but Im inclined to say its actually more fun - the combat at least.
A few captains were difficult just in the first couple of hours but once I began to gather intel it became much easier - and now that Ive started getting the final tier of skills it feels like I could personally whoop Sauron's tail all the way across middle earth without breaking a sweat.
Its satisfying to think back how I was so careful when picking fights early on but now I just walk around like I own the place. Most fun Ive had this year besides Dark Souls 2.
That was an underrated very fun game. Definitely needs a sequel.
Absolutely to all 3.
Yeh if youve never played it its easily worth 10 bucks.
Totally agree about FC3 and the weapon montage trailer didnt do anything but give a more solid foundation to my concerns about FC4. Same old tired class of weapons. Im sure itll be fun for a while but if theyre taking the time to highlight these been-there-done-that weapons Im not sure the fun will last. Also worried the elephants will be a short-fun gimmick and not much more.
@allysystemgamer
I was using the plural of Alien. ;) Even though yes this is the first "Alien" game.
@septic
Thats comforting to hear at least. Ill check that out.
Im really excited but at the same time very worried its going to be a big letdown. Everything Ive seen looks awesome but the curse of Aliens games terrfies me more than the xenomorphs themselves. I sure hope it turns out great though.
Glad to see it's paid off for both Rocksteady and now Monolith. Hopefully other devs and publishers in the same licensed-games field will take note.
@Ace Killa 08
Id say its Batman meets Assassin's Creed prolly like youve already read. It definitely does some unique stuff on its own though. Good solid fun. Im only a few hours in but my own early guesstimated review score will probably be in the 9 range. ;)
Im just ready to see some first screens or a nice trailer. Id love if they went back to something similar to Omikron as far as scope and setting.
