Same here. All signs point to Tenchu so far. A new Bloodborne would be awesome but I have missed Tenchu for quite some time and I'd love to see how well it could turn out with them having so much more experience under their belt now.
Why for have does your head do hurt?
EA says to hell with that!
Well said. I loved the game personally but there is nothing out there that 100% of people like.
I was already looking forward to this game but you really have to give them credit for the fact that only 1 of 2 friends needs to own the game. They must be really happy with the game they've made.
Hey, whatever werks.
Signed up and hoping. Looks like it could be a good one.
This will include their latest form of microtransactions where you pay to unlock keys on the keyboard. "Damn I get getting dupes of the shift key!"
I'm 50/50. I feel like they could obviously do a great Superman game but I also want to see what they can do these days as you said free from the constraints of existing IP's. If they had total freedom to create gameplay first and then a story around it we could something really special.
I'm leaning towards it being a flop but then again people just LOVE retro stuff these days which is why the market is flooded with retro. As someone who grew up with a 2600 and a NES I'd be ok without seeing another intentionally retro-looking game again. Games looked like they did because it was the best they could do at the time. Intentionally making games look like crap these days is somehow seen as a plus for a lot of people. I don't get it.
This is pretty sickening.
Besides thinking the game looks like it could be a good one I also hope it does well so that we might get more local coop games. They are too rare these days.
I was also happy with mine until the left speaker started cutting out shortly followed by the right one. I only had 'em for about 8 months before the problems kicked in. I probably won't be getting any Kingston headsets again. Very happy with my wireless Corsair VOID headset right now.
The ironic thing is that this is free and likely huge publicity for Fortnite. A lot of people that may have not heard of it most certainly have now since one of the most popular games at the moment is targeting it.
Very true. Much like the overuse of words like Amazing, Beautiful, Fantastic, Hilarious etc. that seem to be in the title of every other gaming article.
If it's not a console-exclusive or console-specific article that kind of thing seems to happen a lot around here. If you had titled it "______ console is better than the ______ console!" it would have been approved within 2 minutes.
They need to throw in another Condemned while they are at it.
Yeh I'm definitely interested but it'll all come down to how well it plays for me.
I thought it was great from start to finish. Arkane is a very reliable "fun game" developer imo.
I couldn't agree more. I thought it was a fantastic game. Like you imply, I actually think the name "Prey" ended up being a detriment to what the game was more than anything else. If you can play the game without attaching it to memories of the old Prey it's 9/10 at the very least. I was engrossed the entire game and that's not something most games pull off for me these days.
