@Shackdaddy836
No it's not - the beta only has Operation Metro in Rush Mode and DICE have stated several times that Rush has a maximum player count of 32. Many people are annoyed not because they can't try out 64 player conquest for the sake of it - but because they want to see how well that amount of players can be run on their system, how well the actual game mechanics work, how much it is like previous iterations, etc. Many people on the forums just want Battlefiel...
I'm still amazed by how good the console versions look - if it wasn't for the 64 player count on PC I could quite happily get it on console :) No joke.
I hate that they've tried to make Gears 3 have a more emotional effect on the player as it just comes across as cheesy - if you're going for the emotional story telling then do it from the first game in the series, don't try to be something that you're not. Gears 1 was all about blood, shooting and action - no soppy storylines whatsoever and not much character exploration.
Now with Gears 3 they suddenly want us to feel all this emotion that wasn't there in...
Was hoping someone would get the reference :D
No it's the 27th for MOH ownerd and the 29th for everyone else.
"Now that is a tasty burger..." - can't wait
Not really though because... if you didn't have a brain I think you'd severely lack the motor skills and the ability to co-ordinate the movements of your fingers on the control pad.
HUURR DURRR :B
Not expensive if the remakes go on to sell lots of copies as I imagine the MGS and Ico/SotC collections will be.
Wish I could play them for the first time again :( Amazing experience.
It's weird... I won't buy a COD title on console and am constantly bi***ing about Activision being greedy but if they released a game on Vita I would snap it up just because i've been dieing to play a console quality FPS title on the move.
It'd be so awesome to play a game like COD on a train or something.
or the Honor of the Medal... awwwwwwww man
I think it's hit and miss with RO2 - with me personally it doesn't have any glaring issues and i'm having a fantastic time playing it :) I'm sure once Tripwire iron out some of the bugs (cycling spawn menu, sometimes slightly off hit-reg) and connection issues then everyone will be much more happy.
You have to remember that Tripwire are only a small dev team and they all used to be modders. They want everyone to enjoy their game and they know how frustrating i...
Activision definitely has the money to spend on dedicated servers for consoles - if EA and DICE have always done it with the Battlefield franchise on consoles then why can't Activision and Infinity Ward/Treyarch?
Thing is they were pretty much straight with us from the beginning.
They said that the console version would retain all of the features that the PC version has such as animations, level design, etc - the only difference would be the visual fidelity (such as texture resolution, AA, post-processing effects, etc) and the player count.
That is what they said and that is exactly what people who are planning on playing Battlefield 3 on console will receive.
@MISAN_NASIM
Dude... wtf has your post got to do with the article?
Thing is though they should've been reconfigured from the beginning - doesn't make sense when they withhold certain modes on certain maps and they unlock them as DLC later because people who bought used copies weren't eligible for the DLC.
They're trying to make the best damn FPS we've ever seen...maybe
I've got 6 minutes left on my pre-load... come onnnnnnnn :D
RO2 definitely has its issues at the moment but nothing unlike what other games get released like - if it's anything to go by Black Ops was a horrible PC release and Tripwire are a fantastic dev who listen to what people are saying (after all, they did start off as a mod team).
Should put a space between 'Arma' and 'II' - when I was reading that I was just thinking
"What the f**k is Armall?"
