I think with the xbox release they will have the funds to hire a bigger team for future releases so they can release xbox and PC at the same time.

I'm pretty sure Nvidia is going to make the game 3D ready for PC. They have with EVERY major release on the PC within the last year, why wouldn't they with this game?

I played this game at my buddies house last night and it was surprisingly good. Much better than what this reviewer suggests.
Oh god, I remember having to use the slow motion cheat to get passed that mission, and it was still incredibly frustrating.
The developer says they are "four unedited real time screen shots"

Even if he wasn't talking about the graphics of the game, not even the UI was built with the PC in mind. In fact, nothing in the game was built with the PC in mind.
I think Bethesda sees how great the game actually sold on the PC and are trying to make up for it, since they seemed very doubtful at first.
Well I did notice that some of the rocks on the sides of walls in whiterun are actually much higher resolution now, and the wood on houses is also, but no terrain has changed at all.
Yea it seems that most of the high res textures added to the game are smaller objects, I guess they left the biggest stuff to modders.

Well they never said they wont do a PS3 version The Witcher 2. In every interview when asked if there will be a PS3 version they say that they would love to but they are focusing on ONE platform at a time.
Things are very unpredictable for them at the time because the game could bomb on consoles or do great, so I think they are waiting to see how it does on xbox.
