Mason, you aren't aware of the collective consensus on the game, by both gamers and reviewers (as Pixel mentioned), otherwise, you'd know better.
Any review that blames the other players and gave a half assed effort to grasp and enter a game's universe and offerings should be shunned and/or laughed at. Simple as that.
but AvP 1 was fun too. I preferred the campaign in AvP 2 over 1's, but never played multi in either. AvP 2's missions and levels were a blast, especially the predator ones. With enough strategy, you're invincible, if you know your tools...Recharge energy so you can recharge your health, etc...go find some skulls and ammo you shot out already...truly fun stuff.

DICE's comments, they acknowledged UC2 is superior, but that they were reaching to get it that good.
