Nothing pisses me off more than a bunny-hop-to-prone-head-shot. GG is just keeping it real.
No, a real soldier does not 'move' his rifle instantaneously on a target. You probably have never carried/used a real rifle, or you wouldn't have made/agreed to such a notion. If you think for one second that a soldiers movements with a rifle closely resembles that of a video game, than you are sadly mistaken. A soldier depends on tactics, cover, teamwork, and the fact that there is no such thing as twitch reflexes on the battlefield to win. Just like Killzone 2.
All it had in it was, "WAH!"
Becuase it levels up the playing field somewhat. You actually have to aim to get most kills. Spray and pray only works if the dude is in front of you reloading/afk. Run-and-gun/twitch gamers you have met your match.
But make the controls 'better'? Or make make them so the game becomes 'easier'. Here's my take, most people who are complaining are those who are getting shot in the back, but can't do a jump-180-turn-to-prone-head-sh ot. Then they die and cry out, "THESE CONTROLS SUCK!"
The longer you wait to play online, the harder and longer it will be to rank up. It was a gradual progression over the weekend (for the USA). Friday: Pretty much even. Saturday: Rocket launcher punks. Sunday: Saboteurs and cloaked Snipers, oh my!
They probably got pwned with the rocket launcher online. I know I did. Freaking rocket launchers....
I'd buy that shirt!
If you haven't played the game, and you love some awesome online FPS, you are missing out. Serious. Let those who don't/can't own it speculate. Those that do should celebrate, online of course!
Those who don't/can't own KZ2, hate KZ2. Everyone else is either working, taking a break, or still at it.
Like you eh? Still waiting to run in to N4G members online and SHOOT THEM IN THE FACE! Then say, "Hi."
Those who don't/can't own it, hate it. Everyone else is either working, taking a break, or still at it. Online is a freaking BEAST. Think BF2/CoD4 with heavy SOCOM controls. Takes patience and skills to get used to. But once you do, it's a party online.
you take the time and get good at Killzone then play CoD4, you'll be much much more awersomer. Even if you turn off auto-aim on CoD...
You're right. Getting used to Killzone controls then being able to kill takes REAL skill. Not to mention a whole lot of patience.
and run and gun gamers are up in arms this weekend. Killzone 2 just smacked them all with reality. I tried run and gun tactics at the front door of the palace, yeah, didn't last for more than 5 seconds.
Auto-aim has really given most gamers a false sense of skill, myself included. Killzone just slaps you in the face and brings you back to reality. Run and gun gamers are crying all over the world this weekend.
Helghast cupcakes. Mmmm, cupcakes!
Me thinks he did.
Here's mine:
GAME ON!
