Self ownage, huh? Answer me this, how many games does it take for a game to be good or even great? Is success even measured by how many copies a game sells? Does the number of copies a games sales directly reflect the quality of the game? Don't bother answering, because the answer is no. Numbers tell you nothing ABOUT the game. Why? Because when people buy a game, they don't ask every single person purchasing why they bought it. And they don't follow up later on and ask every single p...
chaps, I doubt Sony trying the figure out the best business strategy by reading the comments at N4G (or any other gamer sites). They empathize with the fans but know that they have a business to run and that business has to be profitable. Now more than ever.
do not equal game quality. Some of the great ones don't even go on to sell a million copies in their LIFETIME. As far as your, 'branded as a Halo Killer by legions of PS3 fans', comment, I saw more gaming websites (looking for hits) with that saying then I did the comments on N4G.
These comments about Killzone 2 sales remind me of the LBP sales comments. Rabid anti-Sony fans jumped all over Sack boy calling him a flop because he sold so little in the US upon release. Now it's Killzone 2's turn, with 2 days of sales data in the US, because it's not a seven figure number, anti-Sony fans are rejoicing once again. I said it before, sales does not equal game quality.
We still on Killzone 2?????
Try and keep up swine!
already enjoying games. Only the ignorant would argue which game/console is better than the other. I blame the media for fueling/spreading such ignorance.
LOTR damnit!
what doesn't kill it only makes it stronger. The PS3, of course.
By Christmas should be even MORE affordable. Think I'll get another one. With a bigger TV.
Vista costs almost as much as a 360 (even now), and only now they realize that the Microsoft HDD is expensive?! I remember in 2006 buying the 120GB, thinking, "HOLY CRAP, HOW MUCH?!"
BRING IT!
has their own opinion, so the question itself is ignorant. Why? Because what I see as a value to me might not be of value to you, or you, or even you.
on your PSP. Awesomeness.
lets concentrate on the sales!<Massive Sarcasm

in environments until the fight goes back to Earth or another planet. But that doesn't happen until Killzone 3. At least that's what I'm hoping for...
If Sony cuts the price, more people will buy the PS3 which raises the chance of increased game sales. In simpler terms: price cut=everybody wins. Even the gamers.
Wow, can't wait to see what they say when GoW or Heavy Rain comes out.
about the 'one trick pony'.
why I purchased (and was given) all platforms: so I don't have to wonder if I'm ever missing out. Expensive option up front, but long term is worth every single penny.
