I can't live without a great story though.
when I see it. From all 3 of the Big Three.
I'll put it this way, how can you say sales are disappointing if you don't what the bottom line is? Yes, more sales equals bigger profit, but we don't know (and probably never will) at what point they starting making a profit. If Sony says they're happy with the sales, who are we to say otherwise? To me, honestly, anything even close to a million is awesome, especially during these tough economic times. Over a million is just icing on the cake. Two million and up is just bragging. But s...
Look, it's not sales alone that is important. Profit is. If you sell 10 million but only make 1% profit, what's the point? Extreme example but you get my drift. I know where you're coming from, but you have to understand, most consumers aren't equating the PS3 with gaming. I believe that the gaming side of the PS3 is really starting to show in 2009, now that Blu-Ray is pretty stable. But in the end, profit is what Sony and it's developers are looking at, not bragging rights. I only car...
do it. E3 is too far away.
I hope it will be great.
I believe this is exactly what MM wanted to bring out in peeps when they created LBP.
is why there has been no price cut.
Maybe it's not the quality of the game but the gamers themselves? Don't think you should knock the quality of the game because it didn't sell what you think it should, marketing or not. Put it this way, most consumers equate Halo 3 with XBOX360. Same could be said about Gears. Now take those same consumers and ask them what do they equate the PS3 with. Probably blu-ray. I believe, in time, PS3 gaming will catch on and games will sell more. But we can't say one way or another because sa...
Sales, smales, who cares. If you enjoy games, then sales are moot.
ME WANTS!
to me is an awesome game. A must own title. Not a must buy title. Seems folks are moving away from owning a game to enjoy it's awesomeness to buying a game so it looks good on sale charts. Sad really. Killzone 2 is a killer app to me, regardless of how many it sold.
I hope it's this year. My holidays would be set!
all this for a name? Wow.
Count me in and gimme the wallpaper.
I blame developers as much as I blame the media for this silly console war. We gamers play games, not consoles, and definitely not sales.
little bugger. Probably the dad's or the older brother's memory card.
not selling. I could care less how much a game sells if I enjoy playing it.
when I see it. And judge it for myself.
not consoles. Games on ALL the platforms. In the end, a great game is a great game, no matter the platform. Why play only some games when you can play them ALL, with all the features each platform has to offer.
