For FPS games, PC players have an advantage over console players? No hacks, just straight up. For me, I'm a PC shooter by trade (started with Delta Force and just blew up from there) so I'm just better on the PC. But when I play on the console (for example: BFBC2 PS3 online) I swear some players match what I can do on a PC.
If this is just the beginning of cross-platform gaming I so welcome it!
Both Microsoft and Sony keep the hardcore games coming. They both need to keep competing in the hardcore arena so we as gamers can keep on winning.
Every game I read/watched/previewed looks good. For me I love having as many options as possible. I just wish my money could keep up with my wish list.
After reading the title then the article, wow, that was way off from what I was expecting.

You don't want to run into the Steam (PC) bviperz in CS:S. Trust me...
(I've been saying this over and over) If Kinect is successful, hardcore gaming on the 360 will be secondary, if that. Look at the Wii.

I'm hating on Kinect. If it becomes successful, I'm totally afraid exclusive hardcore games on the 360 won't exist, or come out like on the Wii, 1 or 2 a year...
Is why it can run so well while still staying pretty. Doesn't take away from it's beauty and technical genius. Can't wait to see what they bring to the table with DOOM!
Definitely becoming a part of my Ultimate Edition collections. That car will nice with Pandora's box, that alien from R2, and Master Chiefs helmet.

IMO, the causal game market is good for business but bad for hardcore gaming. If Kinect becomes successful, the PlayStation will be the console of choice for most hardcore gamers.
I'm STILL bitter at MS for throwing my money down for a MW2 360 and wifi. This slim 360 was a great surprise for some, a huge letdown for me. MS, always soaking you for everything you got before giving you what you need.
I've read that the 360 slim doesn't even do red lights. MS confidence in their fix for RRoD or tactic to sooth consumers should the unit fail? My thoughts, until MS explains the reason why a unit red rings, then there is no fix, just theories...
But does it do destructible environments?
Horrible example. It's more like this:
PS3: I can see. But for some cash I can do night vision.
360: I can't see. But for some cash I can see and do night vision.
Much better.
I don't have a strong equilibrium so I might be one of those that get's a headache doing 3D. Thankfully 3D will be optional in some cases.
