How many times do others have to explain Sony didn't mean the PS3 for 10-years before the PS4 when they said that, they meant they'd support the console for 10-years. They said a 10-year plan for the PS2, but that didn't stop the PS3 from coming out in 2006.
"It Only Does Everything." was a nice campaign... but it wasn't entirely accurate, and anymore it had been turned into troll bait. Creating a new campaign to focus solely on gaming is a very smart move on Sony's part. Do I think they could've come up with something better than "Long Live Play?" Sure, but it'll do. Besides, we still got Kevin Butler so they can call the campaign whatever the hell they want, just as long as we still have Kevin Butler.
I always considered virtual reality to be the next step after motion-gaming, except virtual reality has far far more potential. My only concern is how it can be comfortable. As we all know, 3D glasses give us problems... just what is virtual reality glasses gonna do to us?
Ironically this comment makes you seem like one of those 11-18 crowd, ignorant. Because ALL adult entertainment has to be uber serious and sane.

I was ready to be all over the Resident Evil 4 HD re-release... then I saw the screenshots. The old PC version actually manages to look BETTER. This looks to be one of the worst HD re-releases we've gotten so far. To top it off, Capcom is asking 20 bloody dollars for the thing. I planned on getting it via a gameshare for $6... but even THAT is too much for this awful re-release.
Also, I refuse to support Capcom after the whole canceling of Megaman Legends 3 and re-releasi...

Two things.
1) Onechanbara are awful games.
2) This isn't a "western" game. Grasshoper is making it, they're a Japanese developer.
The comparisons with Onechanbara stops at the setting and skimpy dressed female lead. Onechanbara is soon going to wish it was Lollipop Chainsaw.
Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3 should be on this list. She didn't have the best of complexions and it made her beautiful and believable, and a farcry from the smooth angelic skin that so many characters have.
Don't feed me that "competition" BS. The PS3 is a more powerful console but that doesn't mean the 360 lost the fight. Competition isn't decided by the consoles, they're decided by the, wait for it, GAMES. Exclusives.
The DualShock (1, 2 and 3) are the best controllers ever, I think.
This list isn't about MK characters returning, it's about other franchised characters coming into it like Freddy did.

Honestly, from what we've seen of XIII-2 the PS3 version of XIII looks better graphically, so I'd believe that the PS3 would be downgraded for XIII-2, but remember that can change. You'll be surprised how much graphics can be improved in a game in just the few months before its release, and considering the game isn't out till January we have quite a bit of time for that. The PS3 version AND the 360 version could ultimately look a lot better than what we've seen so far.
Can this series die already? It's caused waaay more harm than good, I lost count of how many "gamers" I've seen that refuse to play anything else, claiming anything else "sucks."
Actually, I heard that Akira Yamaoka's score will NOT be in the HD remaster for the same reason the original voice cast won't be...
MGS4 had waaay more than 3 hours of cutscenes. The biggest complaint was there was a section in the game that was just cutscene after cutscene that spanned a total of 2 hours before you finally got to actually do something again.
If I paid 250 bucks and the thing I spent that on dropped a mere few months later would I be pissed and think I deserve something? Yes, but that doesn't change the fact I don't think anyone should have supported the $250 price tag at all, the price drop would have probably happened sooner if so.
Everyone knew $250 was too much, everyone said as much... yet many of those people still paid it.
So, the people who buy the 3DS at the new price drop and still get the free games are "scammers?" Yeah, whatever you say. I personally don't think anyone who bought the system for $250 should get anything free, cause they're encouraging that outrageous overcharging.
English anime dubbing has gotten a lot better, in fact most dubs nowadays are really good. But I understand what you're saying. I don't understand a single bit of the language, but even I can tell that "voice acting" in the Portuguese trailers are awful.
