Part 2 is already in development so of course it would have no impact on it. Plus with Part 1 out of the way, they have all the heavy loading already figured out. The hunt for Sephiroth and exploring Gaia will be awesome next gen.
Judging by Twitter, you wouldn't even know that Xbox dropped specs, they didn't even make it into the top 10 trends. PS5 was trending damn near all day long off of exclusive third party interview with WIRED. Sony doesn't have to do shit until they're ready to play their cards

Yup. Sony was smart for this. MLB had the pay big to renew the deal especially since we all know they made this multi-platform gig a deal breaker. MLB The Show is the only game San Diego make so it's not hurting Sony.

I LOVE everything I just saw. I knew Nanaki wouldn't be playable until part 2. Especially since they're playing up his and Aerith's views of the Planet. Nice to know that I was also right about Compilation stuff is non canon but elements of it will be included, so they're taking the best parts of it and adding it into the Remake's lore.
