I'd expect Sony once they fully acquire Crunchyroll here in the immediate future to consolidate their power. A PlayStation Platinum Plus. PS Plus + PS Now revamped with PS4/PS3 titles, and Funimation and Crunchyroll.
That first PS5 System Software update is gonna be huge, especially since they're holding things back a bit till we get used to the console. Dynamic Themes, SDD Support/External HDD Support and maybe even folders.
I do believe this is TWICE now that Square Enix has lost money because of Crystal Dynamics. One with overall Tomb Raider sales and now the Avengers. FF7R as a whole and an exclusive was more profitable than Avengers on multiplatforms.
THIS. And we still have no clue if either PS5/XSX when using Quick Resume needs you to pop in the disc when you switch. On Digital it's no problem, but physical still makes you use the disc as you can't install the whole game.

Yup, at least for. I don't resell or trade in games ever, except for when I sell back my PS4 collection to buy the digital release minus what is offered in the PS+ Collection, which thankfully most of them are. PSN sales are always happening and I grabbed NieR Automata for 17 bucks.
It's laughable that Microsoft thinks this will achieve anything. It happens with Apple and Sony. They will be no different.

Anyone who has an ounce of business sense knows this is great movie/investment for Sony. Adding another revenue stream is always helpful.

Would not be surprised if Returnal is the game that is the final trial before Sony officially acquires Housemarque. Makes sense to delay and deliver your finest quality product. Release to rave reviews and then get Acquired by Sony.
