I don't understand how you can call this a stupid move by Sony when they haven't really been matching the DS feature for feature since... ever. First of all the current DS has 2 screens where the PSP has one, the DS has a touch screen where the PSP doesn't, the current DS has built in cameras where the PSP doesn't, the PSP has at least ONE analog stick where the DS doesn't, and so on and so forth.

Anyone that believes that Sony will match Nintendo fea...

I have really enjoyed Nintendo's handhelds more so than their home consoles, whereas it is just the opposite with Sony. Don't get me wrong, I own all of them, but Sony is really going to have to blow me away to get me excited about a PSP2 over a 3DS. I bet we will see the PSP2 announced by the end of the Summer.

Sony has never been able to compete with Nintendo in the handheld market, and if they plan on doing so now, they need to make sure they show off the PSP2 before the 3DS releases at the very least. I would pretty much bet everything I have that they are working on it and have been working on it for quite some time now, though.

It's pretty easy to hold off on a system that doesn't even have a price or release date for another system that you know absolutely nothing about yet.

that Sony doesn't focus too much of their keynote on Move. From what I've seen so far, Move definitely has the better looking titles.

I wasn't really impressed with any of the Kinect games (Forza might be a buy for me), and they didn't really show anything that we didn't know about already. Even the Crytek announcement was drab without any footage of the game or other information. Microsoft's 09 Keynote >>>>>>>&g t;> Microsoft's 10 Keynote

blogs called "beer and video games" don't get invited to E3. Instead, they must try to invent their own little controversy to drum up hits. However, using racist terminology ("honky") is definitely not the way to prove a point. I guess the author was drunk when she wrote this.

3D is an extremely overpriced and underperforming technology that is still in the earliest stages of consumer adoption. 3D is nothing like HD/blu ray adoption, and it will be a slow process. Microsoft may sell a few more consoles if they included a blu ray player, but they 3D isn't even close to a system selling feature right now.

built-in wifi is a wonderful bonus. Built-in wifi, 250GB hard drive, and lower price point would get my money. I'm curious to see if Sony will introduce another PS3 redesign as well, now.

I think it was a great job by Sony to go ahead and announce sequels that we pretty much all suspected were coming anyway. Now, Sony can really surprise us this year with mind-blowing new IPs and bringing back some familiar franchises. This should be a good E3 for all gamers. :)

These companies are pretty much just giving the people what they want. If you don't like Zelda, Mario, and Metroid, then don't buy it. I, for one, am EXTREMELY excited for a new Zelda. I also can't wait to play the new Sin and Punishment. :)

that they haven't come out with a motion-controlled StarFox yet. StarFox 64 will always be one of my favorite games (and the best StarFox), so I'd love to see a new one. It seems like it would be simple enough to make one with the Wii-mote and nunchuk.

it's not like they are ONLY going to make games for Natal now. It's simply another option, and one that is likely to attract a big chunk of the Wii crowd. I do, however, believe that Move has the chance to outsell Natal due to the PS3 now being a combination of a blu ray player AND a Wii (in HD, of course).

What's really sad is that Hellsvacancy still lives in a bubble of paranoia about "those days".

Get over yourself. When the PS3 FIRST came out, N4G was overrun with 360 fanboys, but it doesn't take a genius to see that all of the PS3 fanboys like yourself are getting all of the agrees on this site and have been for the past 2 years. Wizziokid and others like him speak the absolute truth and get blasted for it (mostly by anonymous cowards) for no reason. We can pretend it's opposite day on N4G if you want (which is clearly what you're doing), but even well-known devs and o...

Who said the PSP was going to be discontinued? If I remember correctly, the PS2 still had plenty of new titles coming out for it (including Persona 4) well after the PS3 launched. The new MGS game will definitely be out before a new PSP and same goes for VC2. A PSP2 could easily coexist with the original for at least another year. I have a feeling that Resident Evil PSP is going to be a PSP2 launch title, or at least is being developed for the PSP2 now.

except I didn't have to wear dorky glasses to watch blu rays. 3D will never have massive success until they completely do away with the glasses. We already know it is coming, so why jump on the bandwagon right now?

Honestly, this is the first time I have been shocked by the number of disagrees on one of my comments.

@Hellsvacancy - Did MS buying out the competition work out well for you or consumers in general? I don't think so. You're basically saying that because one company does something it's ok for another to do the same bad thing. Do you not see how childish that is? The whole thing is moot anyway as we all know Sony can't buy "all" of the devs under...

Rockstar and Ubisoft, seriously? You do know that is basically impossible, right? All of the others could happen, though. I don't see why you are hyping Crytek already. I guess some people don't remember how amazing Haze was supposed to be before it came out. Let's see what we get with the finished product on a console before we go begging Sony to buy them.

One gaming company controlling all of the devs would be the worst thing that ever happened in gaming (not to mention illegal). It's sad how kids on here don't understand that competition breeds innovation. 360 fans can really thank companies like Nintendo and Sony for being successful, and PS3 fans should really be thankful for XBOX Live, because without it, we'd still be playing mostly local multiplayer only and wouldn't have access to all of the games, movies, and DLC that...
