the handheld market is really troubling. Nintendo has always been and is still leading the market for handhelds, but Its not because of the hardware. People want to play Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, and other Nintendo franchises, so it is the software that will keep them on top for now. You really should stop looking so desperate over it, though. Nintendo doesn't need your help.
the iPhone having a lot of "cash-in" or crap games that you have to "wade through" are absolutely idiotic. The DS and PSP have a TON of crappy titles, and they are way more plentiful than the great titles, but we are able to avoid them thanks to gaming journalists and advertising. You can't blame the platform for having crap titles when other platforms do as well. There are really great experiences to be had while playing games on the iPhone, whether you can afford to fin...
The fact that you are now hugging the 3DS for dear life just goes to show that you cant stand by what you have already claimed. The 3DS will be amazing, and i will own one on launch day, but that won't stop Apple from gaining market share. Also, I guess you failed to read where I said that Apple wouldn't hurt Nintendo too badly, or maybe thats why you can't cling to your precious Sony anymore. I really feel bad for you. Btw, I just typed this all on my iPad, how easy is that to do on your...
The iPhone/iPod has way better graphics and more processing power than the DS, and it is just slightly worse than the PSP. It's also funny how people like you that make these false claims fail to give the devices credit for not even being a gaming machine first. What makes the iPhone/iPod/iPad better is the fact that they are all amazing multiple-use devices, whereas the DS and PSP are gaming systems with extras tacked on or implemented half-arsed.
You claim that Apple can't compete against the PC, but all they have been doing is gaining market share. Also, why do you only name one market that Apple competes in? They dominate with the iPod, iPhone, and iTunes. I guess you can keep praying that they aren't successful with their gaming aspirations, but the way you say that the PSP isn't competing with the DS just shows that you are a ridiculously close-minded Sony fanboy. Yeah, the DS doesn't compete with the PSP, it just obliter...
The iPad is large?! Wow, what a ridiculously stupid claim! Have you ever even seen one or actually read the specs? Also, since when is having a Windows OS a good thing?! LMAO. You didn't provide one valid complaint aside from the price, and you suggested a sh!tty tablet/pmp (Archos) and a tablet that isn't out yet, and has a bigger screen than the one you are complaining about being large (slate)! I know its the "cool" thing to hate on Apple products on N4G, but nothing on the...
Heavy Rain's story is getting picked on, because the story IS the game. All of the other games you listed are much more fun than Heavy Rain, and it doesn't really matter if the story is better or not. Heavy Rain lives and dies by it's story, so it's basically dead to me.
This game was trying to achieve the most emotional, realistic experience you could get, and David Cage even said that it was meant to be "fun". The game only succeeds in the eyes of those that were so easily duped by the hype (every PS3 fanboy on N4G, basically).
You do realize Sony is milking their franchises too, right? I can't wait for Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Ratchet and Clank Future 4, Socom 4, Gran Turismo 5, etc. I feel dumber for commenting on the same article as all of you idiots.
to hear more about this and DC Universe Online, because I thought we were supposed to see both this year. Hopefully one of them will make it to our PS3s, and I'm expecting to see a lot of footage for both at E3. Don't let me down, Sony!
is the real beneficiary here, not the console makers. I'm not sure why you believe that it's a game-changing feature, but it simply isn't now that all 3 of them have it. Guess what, the Wii can't play blu rays OR DVDs, yet it's outsold both consoles so far this gen. It's extremely clear that Wii owners aren't particularly worried about movies.
amazing on the iPad.
Oh, poor people and their jealousy of Mac products.

made this game so much better, but it's always been a let down. I don't see how the iPad update would make it any better.

and yes.
over a week ago. This is old news.
If you knew it was a stupid example when you typed it, why bother adding it? It's comments like yours that make me wish we could report them as lame.

I'll go ahead and let you know how Alan Wake is. I should be done with it way before E3.
