the single saddest comment on this entire site, and it's a good snapshot of an idiot fanboy from this generation of gaming. "We", yeah, ok kid.
was just hoping to cash in on the Kinect launch. Why do they feel the need to constantly run the Sonic franchise further into the ground? At least there appears to be hope in Sonic Colors.
I'm sure any game that requires you to simply point at the screen wouldn't require much space at all. Guess what? Kinect doesnt require hardly any space when navigating menus in which is performing basically the same thing you are talking about with games like Time Crysis, The Shoot, RE5, etc. By the way, I never said "Move sucks". The fact that that is all you heard just shows how sensitive of a fanboy you really are. I wouldn't have bought the Move if I really thought ...
Resident Evil 5 is not a Move-specific title. A Move-specific title would be something like Sports Champions or The Fight: Lights Out.
@FunAndGun - So what you are telling me is that you can play crappy games that you simply have to point at the screen from laying down on your bed? What a shocker! Maybe I was wrong. Maybe most Move games are just so simplistic in terms of gameplay that you can just play them exactly like on the Wii. Enjoy the waggle, I guess.
is almost every single person refers to another article they've read or a video they've seen to prove why Kinect needs so much space. Almost no one in here seems to have any real, firsthand knowledge of the device and half of them haven't even played Move before. As someone who owns two Move controllers with Sports Champions (check my trophies: Filthyvillain), I can say that Move definitely requires a decent amount of space to play actual Move games. Standing 6 feet away from the ...
and his cousin are a lot shorter than average adult height. Of course the Move needs less space if you are a smaller person, and the same goes for Kinect. Seriously, does anyone on this site have common sense anymore?
you must not be playing any Move-specific games or you are flat-out lying.
I don't need any Android on my PSP2. The Android OS is good at what it does, but the XMB is much better for Sony's gaming needs. Not to mention, the Android market doesn't really offer many decent games. Most of the good games run like crap on even the best devices (had an EVO4G in a 4G service area).
Unless the PSP2 is a PSPhone, a $30-$40 monthly payment will make the 3G an entirely useless feature. Handheld gamers are not going to shell out $300+ for a system and then drop $30-$40 a month extra. They should make it like the Kindle if they are going that route and have it built into the initial price. I will spend $400 on a PSP2 with 3G and fully-integrated PSN if I don't have to pay a monthly service fee.
has never been a series that pushes the boundaries of what consoles can do, so why would they suddenly start now? Quality is more than HD graphics, but apparently you guys don't really understand what gaming is about anymore.
Dude, you do realize that the "demand" isn't necessarily all on the PS3, right? It's extremely clear that PS2 owners didn't flock to the PS3 the way that Sony hoped they would. Many of those former PS2 gamers now have 360's or Wiis instead of PS3s. Your best argument for the game coming to the PS3 could be that it is way more popular in Japan, but I have a feeling that we'd see the next iteration on the Wii before any of the other home consoles. After all, we...
we can be certain about, it's Microsoft is NOT worried about Killzone 3. lol.
what evidence there is to suggest that Square was even planning on ever bringing the series to the PS3.
are you suggesting they bring the game to the PS2 only? You do realize that everyone that owned PS2s didn't end up buying only PS3s, right? If anything, I'd expect to see the next console version on the Wii before the HD consoles.
They always do the AmericaS. I find it hilarious that I simply point out facts, but get 9 disagrees from terrified PS3 fanboys that sit in the corner all day with their tin foil hats on afraid that their precious toy has fallen behind in the console race.
You just called the DS casual? Wow. Just another recent gamer that thinks blood and guns equals hardcore. The DS has some of the most hardcore games available. If you wanted to pick a casual handheld gaming system, you should have gone with the iPhone or iPod Touch. Also, why did you bring up Android? Turbine27 was merely suggesting that Windows Phone 7 IS Microsoft entering the handheld market and he is exactly right. Windows Phone 7 will be immediately better than Android in terms of...
Of course you would "expect" this, you are a fanboy.
here is a tinier gap:
Wii - 4,075,291
360 - 3,568,602
Don't you play games, not sales anyway? BTW, did you notice where it says "Americas" in the title? I never knew that the US was considered more than one America.
can you suggest that the Wii isn't a direct competitor to the PS3?! The fact is, it IS a direct competitor and Nintendo HAS been dominating the industry this gen. You may not like the Wii over your PS3, and it may have far fewer features, but I see Sony copying Nintendo's controls now and not the other way around.
I take it this is your first year of business school, or you are like most college students and have no common sense. Did you ever stop to think that Microsoft expects to sell 5 million Kinects by the end of the YEAR, not the end of two weeks? Perhaps the initial demand is higher than they expected, but even if it isn't, getting units to the retailers will always be a stumbling block. I've yet to hear anything about a shortage from Microsoft so far, though, so I imagine most stores h...
