I can't stand the wait! I bought a PS3 solely with Gran Turismo 5 in mind. All of the other great games have just been icing on the cake. ;)

You do understand that Kojima is still involved with the project and isn't going to just let a pile of crap get shipped out with his name on it, right? The game is more than "just" a spin off as you will get to find out more on one of the most important characters in the MGS universe besides Snake. You can be skeptical all you want, but I'm glad to know that most people are as blinded by Sony loyalty as the people of N4G are.
OBVIOUSLY the game is a "spin-off", the point is it is not "just" a spin-off. The game will be great, it won't be just a Metal Gear game for the 360. No real fan of the series would just dump this game so far in advance of its release, especially considering the E3 trailer was easily one of the best of the entire show. It is hilarious to see so many people trying to hate on this game simply because it went multiplat. Those same idiots will probably cry if MGS5 ends ...
Playing as cyborg Raiden in Metal Gear Online has absolutely nothing to do with how this game will be. If you are thinking it is "just a spinoff", then I feel sorry for you.
If Kojima Productions can keep coming out with amazing Metal Gear games, I will gladly buy every single one of them. Metal Gear Solid 4 is easily my favorite single player game this generation. Rising looks to be on the right track so far.
when the abuse of this website by PS3 fanboys is mentioned, someone has to basically defend it by mentioning how things used to be different as if that makes it OK. I guess that I, for one, am just tired of all the little trolls on N4G and %99 align themselves with the PS3 as if it was a relative of theirs. At least this seems to be one of the only sites that has such a major problem with it.
PSN (%99 of it at least) is free and most importantly you can play online for free. As long as this holds true, this will be a MAJOR selling point for Sony and the PS3. Also, I wonder what the PSN will be like after a 3 or 4 more years. They have already accomplished a LOT to this point.
What you may come to notice is if you say anything that comes close to casting a negative light on the PS3 or a positive light on the XBOX360 (in a PS3 article), you will get disagrees and lose bubbles thanks to this site being overrun with blind PS3 fanboys. I understand that you were telling a true story about your personal experience, so here's a bubble and an agree from me. Hopefully you will stick around.
All you have to do is take one look at PlayStation Blog Share and find that many of the most requested features by Sony's supporters have something to do with online. That being said, Sony has done a great job with their free online service and the best is yet to come for the free and Plus services. You can't go wrong buying a PS3.
First of all, there are no "reviewers", because the final product has yet to be issued. If you want to base your entire opinion on a product on PREviews of the unfinished model, then go right ahead. You are free to spend your money however you like, but for you to come in here and just flat out lie about other websites is absolutely pathetic. Alan Wake on the new 360, s8anicslayer? I highly doubt it. I've played the game on my 360 "Slim" and didn't notice any noise at all.

You understand that we are talking about "sales" right? It's kind of impossible to include "piracy" in with sales numbers unless you are selling pirated copies.
that no one has really mentioned the horrendous load times in Forza 3 even AFTER you installed it. I've played the game a ton (all but a few achievements left), and I would say the times are at least comparable to Modnation Racers except you don't have a nice little percentage thing to show you that it is almost done. It will take a lot more than load times to stop GT5 from becoming the greatest racing sim of this generation.
