To me it is a good game getting better. I didn't like it at first and was almost having to force myself to play it but now I am lvl 14 (think it caps at 20 or a little after) and getting better loot, tougher enemies, and the game is just generally getting more interesting. I can't speak to the pvp in the retail game but if it's the same as beta was then it won't be a feature I use often if at all.
And @LazyGoron, I probably have about 10-12 hours of game time ...
I would say that is a pretty similar opinion I have with Destiny. I like to play it, even more so with friends but never get the itch to play it. It has gotten a little better the higher level I have gotten but not much.
Still not a fail to me though as I went into this game with realistic expectations.
Yeah the 3 AM thing is kind of BS lol.
I wonder how much it would cost them to get the copyright to use some of those bands for a radio station in GTA.
The problem with it is the people that play on pc, or the ones I know personally, are spending more than $400 to game. Anybody spending $400 or less on a pc isn't looking to play games on it in my opinion.
@BitbyDeath
You do realize though the pc people are allowed to mod their games?
I haven't been into pc gaming for very long but I can tell you the people I do know don't play the same game for very long. Constantly switching to new games and steam sale games.
Also, I think the BF crowd would be 2x the size if it released with less bugs and glitches.
Would love to see why Sony said it wasn't good enough. What about all the other games that have bugs and glitches and other problems that get released. Bethesda games come to mind
Yeah I pre-ordered it for the beta but cancelled it simply because I like digital downloads better. They could still count mine as a pre-order if they wanted since I will still be getting it though lol.
Yeah the importing save thing for Witcher 2 basically gave a few items at the start of the game and you recognized other people from the first game.
If you truly think that way you should get it on PC.
I highly doubt the PS4 could even run Witcher 2 with everything set on Ultra and with ubersampling so you can keep dreaming about the PS4 version being "gimped."
Yeah definitely agree that the people that are complaining are the ones who haven't experienced a Witcher game before. Yeah it looks good for the first 10 minutes but then you are thoroughly engaged in the story.
I can't believe how CDPR has had to explain themselves over the past week or so about this game, in my mind they are one of the very few developers I would trust with making me a game I would want to play.
Of course there couldn't be any other reason. I mean it's not possible that the PS4 version could have more objects on screen, better textures, draw distances, etc.
If I had to guess with CDPR they are trying to make it look better with more stuff at 900p than less stuff at 1080p for the consoles. Still, I need to upgrade my PC so I can play this and import my saves for it.
I love all these parity comments and CDPR is in bed with MS. You guys must be out of your minds, CDPR will deliver a great game and these guys are PC minded.
And exactly how can the Witcher series be overrated when I bet most of you haven't even played either one of the games?
I had trouble getting into the first one, mainly just because of how it controlled. That was my biggest complaint with that game and probably the only one.
They will deliver, played both witchers on pc and then played the xbox 360 port. Amazed they could get that to run and play on that system. Was a much better experience on PC but definitely wouldn't doubt them with making this game on consoles especially if you haven't even played a game of theirs yet.
I know but at least entertaining lol. I'm grasping here, can't defend Dan. I have failed father...
@Death
I may be wrong about this but I don't think that many from Bungie stayed outside of a few with the big one being Frank O'Conner. Also, if I remember right didn't Joseph Staten just join MS Studios a few months back?
@Bloody-Bandit
Yeah it definitely gets more interesting and loot drops seem better the higher level you are, am currently level 14, but it does feel way too repetitive. I also wish public events happened more often.
I think it is mostly because you are either not distracted enough or not engaged enough. With the first couple Halos Bungie did it was the same type of thing, go here, shoot that, insert cortana, defend, done. But, it had an interesting enough setting, sto...
