I have the maxed feline witcher gear and its good. The feline crossbow in that set is better than the death from above crossbow, and you got it from completing a quest I believe.
It's possible the some data for you save got corrupted. and the icons are missing. The important smiths you need to know is the master armor smith in crow's perch and the master sword smith in novigrad. Both have related quests.
I know you can filter things on the map, maybe you accidentally filtered those out?
I rather enjoyed the father/daughter relationship there shared more so

That's a good deal but I will stick take my gaming pc. RPG's just feel normal to me with a mouse and keyboard. Plus, I've been spoiled with 60 FPS, I've got to have it now.
Also, Hairworks makes Geralt so... dreamy..
Add to the fact that you can play at a pretty steady 60 fps
I was having some crash issues all yesterday, mostly in the inventory screen and sometimes when just running around. Screen would freeze and I would have to end task in the task manager. I have read that setting your frames from 60 to unlocked fixes this and am still trying it but haven't had a crash in about 3 hours since. I also only ever click on the esc button to exit menus, never hit the esc key on the keyboard anymore cause that froze it half the time for me.
I haven't found any but then again, i just got out of white orchard lol. Too busy running around to those stupid question marks. I did buy a few diagrams, and alas have no money to every repair anything but my sword

I believe that 95% of the people who are complaining about the "downgrade" are either people who weren't going to get the game in the first place, or people that haven't played a witcher game before. ...
He says actual game footage, not gameplay. When someone says gameplay footage, I expect to see an in game hud, menus, key interactions, etc. When I look at that trailer, it looks like prerendered CGI to me, not gameplay. I was referring to last years E3 where they actually showed gameplay.

Where is this downgrade? Artistic visions change and so do styles at how they present the game.
The people who keep saying this game is downgraded and then call for other people to get the pitchforks after CDPR make me believe this is their first Witcher experience. Where was all this fuss for like the past year? From what I can tell from last years E3, this game has looked the same and you all just keep comparing it to a trailer that was released like what, over 2 years ago?...
CDPR is one of the few developers that actually seems to care about their fanbase and listen to it. There was little hesitation for me to preorder this game after playing Witcher 1 and 2.
Agreed, more weapons and attachments, more and better soldier customizations, more titan chassis and weapons, maps. Basically more everything

It is a good game and really fun to play. It would be interesting to read reviews now vs. when the game came out. Whether you like playing alone, playing co-op, or pvp, you will find something you like.
I know I should be flogged for saying this but even if they were to just remake the original gears, I would be overjoyed. I have so many good memories from the first game.
