Most anticipated game of the year
They missed Darksiders 2. That's probably in my top 3 most anticipated for next year. Hard to believe but 2012 looks to be as good if not better year for gaming than this year.
While Skyrim has great potential to be GOT, I'm afraid Arkham City has it in the bag. I was hoping for stronger showing from AC: Revelations, and while it's still a great game, i'm afraid it doesn't do enough to topple the dark knight.
Neither does Skyrim - dragons be damned
Read carefully
You are quite right, but for the time being that is not happening. There will definitely be another installment next year, it being 2012 and all, and a November 2012 will be just in time for the end of the world :)
When it happens that the franchise starts losing its spark, I'll be the first to admit it.
But until then... roll on AC:R
Most definitely. The difference between AC1 and AC2 is the same as the difference between Uncharted 1 and Uncharted 2, or even Arkham Asylum as compared with Arkham City.
If you play AC 2, do the truth puzzles. You haven't played AC unless you've uncovered the truth.
Just to give you an idea of how good the game is - back in 2009 during the VGAs in the game of the year category Uncharted 2 beat out, among others, AC2 to walk away with the award.
I suppose because it's better than BEATING ganOFF (tsk)
I'm not sure why you have disagrees. This contest is incredibly lame. Besides, I'm not sure it's physically possible to keep your arm outstretched, and still, for 9 hours...even with a fake arm White Lightning!
'I lost count of the number of times he would leap to the center of a group of gun-toting enemies when I was desperately trying to get him to snap to cover.'
Might I suggest pressing 'O' instead of 'X'
I know it's difficult but there's nothing you can't achieve if you put your mind to it
LOL. Good idea. Suffering from beerhydration
20 more hours and then I can finally play it.
I took a practice run and then got thirsty. Must fill empty hand with beer
Call me oversensitive but 'Quest progression issues' might be a bit of a problem for me
Assassin's Creed Revelations for me. Then Arkham City. Then Skyrim.
Ask Christopher Nolan
I think Christopher Nolan would be perfect for this movie. Think Inception, Memento and the Prestige
He has shown that he can tackle all the aspects needed to make a great Assassin's movie
That aside, I'm glad to see that Ubisoft is retaining so much of the control in the making of this movie, especially the casting.
Things are looking promising, just need to add Nolan to the mix
I've been trying to avoid spoilers and so have been skimming the reviews, but I didn't really pick up any reviewer commenting about the aiming.
It's a pity this problem exists, but I'm sure it can be easily rectified with a patch. SOON
Yes, because it's a first person shooter with a generic story
I saw it when it said 47 minutes, and i waited and watched and counted down and when it got to zero, it started again with 7hrs59minutes.
i got played
This guy is so egotistic. He's talented, but I get the feeling that he takes himself too seriously. Fine, he has plans to move along, but why take all the attention away from the game that the rest of the staff are working so hard on and put it on his post-release plans. Get over yourself dude.
Sincerely, Former Fan
