Exactly - your progression through the game in terms of skills is preset. Skills unlock at set levels and its just a matter of determining which skill suits your play-style. Unless I've missed something, most of the skills don't even show you how much damage you doing. And weapons that you pick up can't be used (when playing as a wizard) unless you've run out of Arcane power. Not too impressed. I would say 'more of the same' but it really feels like less.
Enjoying the game, but I don't like the skill progression. Not really much choice aside from selecting the runes. Where are all the other reviews by the way. The game is out for a day now and there are no reviews??
After purchasing the game I had no problem, managed to progress to level 12 wizard. Took a break and can't logon - so I decided to change the server to Asia (previously on Europe) and see what happens. It actually logged in instantly BUT my level 12 character is gone! Changed the server back to europe and have the logging in problem again. Does anyone know if your characters get saved to a particular server?? I'm hoping that's the case

At least the one good thing that comes with these delays is that it means the world won't end December 2012 :p
It seems Darksiders was a 'hate-it-or-love-it' type of game. If it's not for you, it's not for you. I loved it, and still rank it in my top three games this gen. I agree that it seemed to have lost its pacing in the middle, but it climaxed brilliantly. If 2 is more of the same, then I'll love this one too. But my money is on it being even better.
