Didn't look that good if you ask me. I can't really imagine myself getting kicks out of dead space death match.
co-op campaign however...
Interesting. The only advertising I pay attention to in relation to games is a review, and the stuff gaming 'journalists' write about.
Still not sure if this is just all cash for comment though.
Everyone is getting so distracted by the damage in the game that it seems like they're forgetting all its other features...
It's not just Lucas Arts, it's over half the third party, multiplat developers for PS3. Devs get lazy with it and we don't get results on par with 360. It's really a shame considering the obvious power of the hardware on PS3 that this far into the life cycle devs still can't get simple things like framerates, texture detail and resolution right- its always the same complaints.
PS3 definitely looks blurred in comparison, most notable in this shot I think:

I think he raises some valid points. I'm impressed by the damage, but coming from the perspective of none at all.
I think it's a bit silly we still don't get broken/shattered glass or paint chipping. But I'm reserving judgement until I receive and play my own copy on launch day as to how good it looks considering these screens aren't very clear. Regardless this will be the game of my collection for sure.
Good. Hacking is for cheap asses.
Illegal and silly for so many reasons.
I knew this would happen. The reality is if you use your console online in any way, you can't hack it.
Looks good but I still don't see cracked/smashed windshields or headlights which is stupid
I prefer physical storage, It's nice to look at the cases of my games library lined on my shelf
new browser please!
what about an 'app store'? im sure it could handle that too
They just lost a bomb load of money. I read somewhere these guys mortgaged their houses for these shipments.
Dead Space 2 I'm really looking forward to, but I have to echo sentiments about its need for multiplayer.
I'd have no qualms with multiplayer being co-op as part of the main campaign, but I just don't see the need for standard death match etc. style multiplayer in a game such as Dead Space. I'm happy with a good quality single player game.
This game is the reason I bought a PS3 in 2007... It'll be worth the wait.
so basically this thing is useless if your play online which is probably most playstation 3 owners considering online play is such a key to this generation of consoles
Meh I think some kind of update will render this useless.
I had a similar thing for Wii where you inserted a disc first then ejected it (so I could play an NTSC version of No More Heroes on my PAL Wii- not for pirated games), then 2 months later a simple update stopped the thing working. Everyone at the time hailed it as the mod free way to play 'backup' versions of games and Nintendo couldn't do anything... well they did.
What's the bet a fir...
Shogun 2 Total War will be... epic samurai battles FTW
im sick of rubbish, lazy ports.
I missed this news, what exclusive content does Sony have on this game?
