That's actually Namba Parks, a cool shopping zone in Osaka. The buildings are offices but under the gardens is this really cool open plan shopping centre full of clothes boutiques etc. My girlfriend used to work there :)
When I was living in Tokyo a couple years ago I actually came across a Playstation boutique store that sold everything from high end jeans and shirts to stylish leather PSP carry cases and things. Japan gets all this sorta stuff relatively early...

I'm really looking forward to GT5 but the damage will be underwhelming- I don't expect great things from that- but its something that's never been a draw for me anyway.
definately agree; 2k10 was a buggy mess. The most disappointing glitch ridden game i've everbought, which disappointed the hell out of me cos i love basketball games and loved previous NBA2k games

It's because it depends so much on exports, like the rest of japan's economy: more than 70% of their business is consumer electronics.
Japan's economy is an IT and service driven economy, and all such economies rely on exports. The GFC ground exports to a halt and Sony hadn't been profitable since '08, so this is just a product of the slow economic turn...
Sony suffered alot the last couple years with some drastic restructuring.
I'd agree only as an Australian I still wouldn't get to see NBAtv. All that rad stuff we don't get here. I have to watch NBA on a broadband league pass...
Exactly- if this does happen then the initial cost of a game like MW2 should be reduced to $19.99 AUD. I haven't even played the campaign on it...

NBA2K10 is the most glitchy game I've ever played. I've seen glitches in Red Dead, but not the game destroying glitches that plagued 2K10 at launch, then weren't fixed for 6 months after its release, and it is still f**ked.
EDIT: BTW, all games have glitches- I've never played the 'perfect' game. I think Red Dead's glitches were just 'presentation' problems- I've never seen or heard of one that stopped game progression or crashed it et...
xbox definitely looks better... but overall this game isn't exactly a graphical showcase anyway
Thats not the real question.
It's purely from the standpoint of IP protection. It'd be like McDonalds all of the sudden allowing Burger King to make Big Macs and Quarter Pounders.
