That's a pretty big if, MS would have to pull the plug, I would have to have a broken console/hdd AND have no backups.
I could lose my physical copy if somebody steals/scratches/breaks/mispla ces it too. There is no 100% forever ownership but like you say, I can back up my games on another drive.
On PS+ method, if sony were to pull the plug then that would be a guaranteed loss of access no doubt. So I'm glad 360 will remain as is. Sucks about Xbox One.

Ps plus is like a rental service with newer games that you dont get to keep or decide on.

I was so worried they'd change the GwG format 360 to mimic ps plus. I like that I get to keep the games forever, especially since I didn't buy xbox gold for the games so it really feels like an awesome bonus.
An old(er) game is a new game to me *if I have not played it yet. So far Halo 3, Assasin's Creed 2 and Banjo Nuts and Bolts(RSA substitute for some other game I have forgotten) are the games I had already owned prior to them being available on gwg.

I am genuinely curious where you are getting your information from especially since Sony does not break down the numbers between between Vita and PSP. How are you gauging this supposed to increase when sales for both combined are down by a massive mar...
Ummm...the Vita/PSP sold 7 million last fiscal year, the Vita/PSP/VitaTV sold 4.1 million this fiscal year. All 3 are forecast to sell 3.5 million in the year to come by Sony.

Not true, 2012 was the best year in terms of games, after that it was just ports of indie games and ports of HD collections.
Because that's what gamers care about, whether or not the exclusive they are playing ia 3rd party or not.
