I have have accepted that the software has not yet been optimised for the hardware and that all these technical aspects will improve in time. Now I just want games with great gameplay. Sacrifice the resolution if that means the game will play better, just gimme great games.

It is simple, you can only coast on hype alone for so long. GAMErs want GAMES. Sony need to start giving the people what they want, and it isn't more indies.
There is a reason Sony are sponsoring booths at TGS for indies, they NEED them for exclusive games on the cheap.

Looking at the year ahead and what has already been released, I'd say it is a contender. So far my money is on Mario Kart. Nothing else with a definite 2014 release window strikes me as a goty winner based on previews.

Bull. Titanfall was called Call of Duty with mechs right from the onset by both the media and especially gamers. And by gamers I'm sure you know who I'm referring to.
The difference between TF and WD is that TF managed to be enjoyable beyond the point of comparison. It bested its inspiration in almost all ways and its main criticisms stemmed from a lack of content instead of failing to equal CoD.
WD on the other hand fails to best its inspiration...

As far as I know, 28 is greater than 12. Meaning MOST reviews are less than 9/10, so 9/10 is higher than most.
