All of the TVs have HDR only exclusion is the Sharp TV which the manufacturer has stated they will provide a firmware update for it. The TVs don't have BOTH of the HDR formats, only having the HDR10 format amd not the Dolby version. Why should that matter when both Xbox and PlayStation use HDR10 which is by far and large the more widely used format in the tech industry?

You're more than welcome to not buy either the PS4 Pro or the Xbox Scorpio since in every 3 years a new and better console will be coming out. But that begs the question then of why would you ever buy a new console again since an even newer one will come out in just a couple after the newest one was just released.

Ok fair, lets just say you're realistically looking more like, at the very least, $700 to have a good 4K TV. If you turn time back by a decade that's pretty much the same figure you'd be looking at for a good 1080p TV when the 360 and PS3 were out. Now look at how many 1080p TVs are out in the consumer's ownership in that time. It's gonna be the same story for 4K TVs, whether you like it or not. Also $700 for a TV is really reasonable, especially since you'll most like...

The Xbox One S is relative to the PS4 Slim and will replace the original Xbox One going forward just like the PS4 Slim. Both the Xbox One S and the PS4 Slim were revisions to their original versions to make slimmer, smaller, and sleeker. Both are priced at $300, the difference is the Xbox One S gives you a 4K UHD drive, can display in 4K, has an IR blaster, and optical audio output, all of which are absent on the PS4 Slim.

It's called an emerging market for a reason. As the number of people who are buying 4K TVs increase so too will the content that can take advantage of that. Just because there isn't thousands of hours worth of 4K content at this current moment doesn't mean there won't be in a couple of years.

A hugely increasing number of people do. 4K TVs are not expensive at all anymore, there are some very nice 4K TVs out there for just a few hundred dollars.

@Genuine

PS4 teraflops - 1.8
Xbox One teraflops - 1.3
1.8/1.3 = 138.46% performance of the Xbox One

Xbox Scorpio teraflops - 6
PS4 Pro teraflops - 4.2
6/4.2 = 142.86% performance of the PS4 Pro

The Xbox Scorpio will be an entire PS4 level of compute power greater than the PS4 Pro when it launches. Considering the fidelity of games that have been released on PS4 I wouldn't call that just "slightly" more. In terms of the perspective of the PS4 Pro compute power, the Xbox Scorpio is virtually 43% more powerful. That much more power for a 1 year wait and likely $100 extra (will probably be a $150 spread at the time of Scorpio's release). I'm not hating on PlayStati...

I'm jealous of your OLED, mate. Not yet at the point to comfortably drop that amount of cash on a tv yet, but the day will come. I was inches away from biting the bullet and getting my first 4k/HDR tv last night but decided I'll wait until I buy the Scoprio. That day will hurt my wallet big time, thousands of dollars all at once.. wincing already lol. I can't justify getting the Xbox One S since I already own an Xbox One Elite and Scorpio releases in just one year. As soon as I ge...

Valve has shifted focus to their 3 core games that bring in freight trains of money: TF2, CS:GO, and Dota 2. It just simply appears that the Valve group really doesn't have any intention of doing anything else other than update and maintain those 3 games (in regards to full fledged video games, they are experimenting with hardware at least).

So people can't enjoy racing games these days?

ESF has been around for years. Far before the first Budokai games. I remember playing the mod back in the same days of CS 1.6; to see how far they've come - It's bringing a tear to my eye.

Nothing to see here people, this is just the regular piss-poor quality retro bundle "console" that you see on store shelves every year. Doesn't even have HDMI. I've bought one of these before, highly recommend to avoid them. Nintendo's actually has potential to be a great quality product.

All of the reviews for INSIDE should start with "go play the game, then come back and let's discuss it." It was absolutely fantastic to play and should be expierenced without knowing anything going in.

Just a satire piece trying to mockingly defend their previous article that was a straight up MS bash with only 0.5 Teraflops of cognitive thought power used when it was written.
