By todays standards I would agree the OG Xbox is pretty ugly but I wholey disagree that the OG Xbox One is ugly. It's just big, but it's still sleekly designed and looks nice (again only thing that held it back was it's size). The Xbox One S and X are the best looking consoles in my opinion followed closely by the OG PS4. The PS4 Pro is damn ugly.
To me it's a solid 9

I got the Gold headset during Prime Days for $60, gotta say both the sound and build quality are below average. Wouldn't buy it again unless it was for $40 - $50 max
It also was one, if not the first, to run the remaster simultaneously with the original that you can switch to instantaneously on the fly with a push of the button. It's not groundbreaking but still pretty cool

In the grand scheme of things, i don't think MS had a lot of options to choose from. They were adament that the new console is the same generation, plays same games, and uses same exact accessories as Xbox One. They've already released a SKU named Xbox One Elite, cant name another SKU with same name. Just like with the 360, they name their revisions with the console name then a letter, i.e. Xbox 360 S, Xbox 360 E, Xbox One...

The same way the Xbox 360 succeded at $400. The same way the 360 had back-compat. The same way games went from 480p to 720p. The same way society was upgrading from SD to HD tv's.

Xbox One X is 4k in 2017 at $500

And just to elaborate with inflation, $100 in 2005 (when the 360 came out) is now the same as $125 in 2017. Everyone knew back then the 360 SKU worth having was the $400 model. $500 today is the same as $400 in 2005. It was a fair price for the 360 back then and it's a fair price for the X today.
For what you get, $500 is fair
