the chances of a decent connection over such distances are pretty slim.This is obviously relates to routing issues and latency caused by all that hardware along the way,nothing to do with game servers. this is a game i really want to be great,however based on the demo play, i'm a tad underwhelmed.Sluggish movement,difficult controls,but most of all the shearing and screen tear when moving around is completely unacceptable. Yes, it's just a demo and hopefully all will be well in the final version,but if this is an example of the final product, then for me,this is a big let down.

Both consoles are about the same in terms of pros and cons, this appears to sit less well with PS3 only owners ,than 360 only owners.Owners who own both consoles,generally, but not always, agree their isn't much in it. Seriously, no disrespect to anyone who likes this game, i'm pleased you do, but for me the single player campaign just seemed like a series of miniature set pieces! Sony's machine is good value, but then, maybe a Ferarri is good value! However,truth is the PS3 is expensive,too expensive for many, regardless of 'value'. It is possible for people to appreciate the value of something, but that doesn't mean they are prepared to spend huge amounts of money on it. It's worrying to me,that Sony keep touting value when it's really the bottom line that matters.
anyones cage, but i think there's a previously unforseen in all of this.Namely, the 'credit crunch',I'll bet Sony has lost quite a few sales to this phenomenon.Sony may well have been able to close the sales gap,all thing being equal, but in the current economic climate, i think people are choosing the cheaper options-Wii and 360! Usually, i would expect both consoles to sell well to their respective fan base, now however,i think Sony need to revise their pricing strategy.

it's great news to have the option of hdd installs,the improvements in loading times looks pretty piss poor to me. Wouldn't you expect much greater reductions than suggested in this chart?
the demo on 360, i'm looking forward to this one. I think the graphics are quite good, contrary to what a lot of people are saying.And if the co-op turns out to be as suggested i.e essential to get through the game, then this may well be a sleeper hit.Certainly seems more entertaining than some of these so called 'big hitters' i've played recently.

I have both consoles and i don't see anything -including killzone2 that makes me think one console is way more powerful graphically.I agree with the lawyer above,if you want really powerful graphics then buy a pc rig.On the otherhand, that's a pretty pointless comment to make on a post about consoles, isn't it?
