No, because PC's have lots of lovely cheap fast RAM, don't need gimmicks. Erm... Maybe we are talking about different things here. At normal viewing distances you will barely notice the minimal difference between 1080p display and 720p display. Also any game on either console that has any kind of intense action, will be negatively affected by running 1080p. Wasn't Sony's launch date largely dictated by component supply problems(Blu ray).They launched when they were able to launch.Few games and high cost at launch didn't help.And despite the idea of superior technology,the reality is very different.Sony is only now beginning to get off the ground with comparable graphics and software to the 360 .Also sales of PS3 appear decent and consistent, but is it too little too late?

Trouble is IMO, they have tried to mix a fast paced intense FPS with squad based format. For me, this doesn't work.Squad is for tactics,and strategy based games like GRAW.I'll pass on this one.Shame, because Clive Barker should have allied with a more competent outfit and this could of been good.
