that both consoles should be set to the their best settings.Not being able to connect a PS3 via HDMI sort of defeats the whole comparison thing, doesn't it? I mean, many people believe HDMI gives a superior output compared to component, so it's only fair you should use HDMI for the PS3. If they can't use the best setting, then it's a pointless exercise IMO.

know which version to buy? That's a no brainer.If it's multiplatform,then 360 version for sure,because it's usually as good as PS3 version,but more importantly, it's usually CHEAPER.
MS continues support for the 360 i don't see a problem with this idea.More powerful console,what's the problem?Three to four years is long enough for any console, because by then it's old tech.I don't mean it isn't any good after 4 years, just that there's better technology out there.As an ex P.C gamer 4 years seems a long time not to upgrade, so i'm all for it.

i would like to make one distinction.Reviewers are usually gamers,biased or not. The same is not true of most publishers which are clearly driven only by the almighty dollar.I would sooner trust a gamer with their bias and passion for games than any publisher smiling and nodding politely while he grabs for my wallet!
