The pistol flag combo is genius. The only reason I can think of as to why someone would disagree is because they can only kill a slow moving un-armed player.
Lets face it, if you grab the flag, your teammates don't protect you. They just try to get their fair share of kills as usual. At least with the pistol you have some chance of dropping a few assault rifle goons.

Your claims that it is just nostalgia is a bit wrong TBH.
I actually played through yellow and crystal like last year, and they were still fantastic. Some of it has to do with nostalgia, but those games were fantastic. Diglett and dugtrio were just ground moles, so it makes sense.
Voltorb was some weird electro ball. Magma was awesome with flamethrowe, and it evolves in the newer ones.

The new legendaries are so OP as well. And whoever designs the pokemon now is pathetic. Most look like crappy generic cartoon monsters you see on those kids tv shows (the 2-4 y/o shows)
I want a open world pokemon on the Wii U as ash, where you can run up to wild pokemon and catch them. It would be soo awesome.

All I do is go "compare games" and it shows the achievements before the dlc has come out. Do it for most games.

I think it is well established that other than being able to Eat, Shit, F&*K and Sleep, humans are also experts at knowing how NOT to play as a team.
Love the pistol/flag combo.
Now when a noob starts shooting you with their assault rifle, you can put em to sleep. That or not needing to rely on bad teammates who never defend the flag carrier anyway.
The new spartan IV armor looks awesome. I hate team games where everyone is blue or red, but at least this armor looks cool.

Well, I'm playing League of Legends as we speak, and I don't need to buy anything. Some are quite tricky though, they ram things down your throat in the hope you will give in.
At first I thought F2P was a gimmick, but it is now the elephant in the room. If Sony and Microsoft don't embrace it, I don't think their consoles will last the WHOLE next gen.They might start off fine, but they will deteriorate towards the mid-end of the consoles cycle.

I thought it was going to be a copy paste job, and I wasn't interested. But after seeing this and the overrun tutorial I can honestly say Im psyched for this game now. Plus the interesting Campaign twist thingy (classified? declassify??)
Cool. Made me forget how good the graphics were in Gears 3. Havn't played it in a while. Hopefully the campaign is good.
Gears 3 would probably still look better graphically, but Halo 4 will have the waaaay better art-style and everything.
I love Halo so much, it has changed my gaming life forever. The new lighting is greatly appreciated, as I was having a hard time playing other games since the beautiful lighting in Gears 3 and Uncharted 3.
