It is complicated. Yes, there has been a yearly release since 2009, but I can explain.
2009: ODST, halo Wars. One was an expansion (ODST) made by a smaller team from bungie, while the big team was working on Reach. Halo wars was in development for about 3 years, by a DIFFERENT studio.
2010: Halo Reach. Had a 2 year minumum dev cycle, possibly 3 (Don't know how long it took for the main Halo 3 team to start work.

I disagree. The Vita is a cheap handheld that has downgraded ps3 games, it has great games of its own. Uncharted Golden Abyss was awesome, and the new AC3 Liberation looks quite good, as well as having exclusive cross content with AC3.
I think Sony really needed to make a smaller dev team, comprised of some of the talented people from Naughty Dog, GG and the like to really make an awesome 10/10 game.

Thanks. Hopefully They fix both versions. The ps3 version of ME2 suffered more from framerate due to better alpha effects and higher graphical fidelity.
I highly doubt EA would take the time to touch the games up a bit, as they probably want a quick cash in on a good franchise towards the end of this generation.

Well, If the Darkness 2 was priced cheaper, it would fit. But the fact is, while still a good game, felt pretty rushed. I think the devs knew that too, that's why they delayed it and brought out Vendettas.
As I said, still a good game (I bought it day 1), but It isn't hard to see why it didn't sell well.
I disagree. The issue doesn't lie with the amount of exclusives, just the fact that they aren't making new ones.
I only have about 40 games on the 360, but 20 of them are exclusive.
Sure, I have many more ps3 exclusives, but the thing that bugs me is they aren't making any more. Microsoft only seem to focus on the few franchises that sell, and leave other behind (crackdown...aka LETdown).

First was amazing, one of the best games this gen IMHO.
The second was still great, but waaaaay too short. Very entertaining, the replacement voice actor wasn't that bad, he was pretty darn good.
The vendettas was very short also. I wish it was more of a sequel to the first game rather than the comics (Comics were not as good as the first darkness, but still pretty sweet).

I love the VITA, and hope that it sells more. Lots of Sony products start of slow then sell rapidly. I also love the fact that the games on it are significantly cheaper than on home consoles.
I was hoping they would release ME2 on 360 in the same quality as the ps3 version. My brother sold his 360 version as he said the ps3 version was quite superior (updated engine??)

Sony DEFINITELY need more advertising.
They advertised the heck out of Uncharted and Gran Turismo, and they were rewarded with Sales that and company would envy.
They didn't advertise Resistance nearly enough and that game flopped (sales wise, they still were great games).

I'm sure EA will hire him, it is a requirement to have good "bad mouthing" skills to work there (they always slag off at their competitors).
This guy is living proof that Sony was right in sacking him. Not very professional on his part. Sony are well renowned for selling and making very high quality products. I also think that their PR and advertising people are very bad, and so this re-structuring can only mean a good thing for Sony's future.
Congrats to him. I myself take longer to beat games (even the more linear ones) than my 9 year old cousin.
I could beat it in half the time as him, but I always soak up the experience and look for easter eggs and collectibles.
He did a good job, I myself wouldn't do that If I was paid, as it wouldn't be enjoyable AT ALL (for me) so therefore that game would be ruined forever for me.

I remember the Vidmaster Challenge In halo 3 for beating the last stage 4 player co-op. The amount of times we had to reload because someone drove ghosts over the edge was hilarious. Or alternatively, using the warthogs was also hilarious.
In any other game you would be raging at them, but those classic moments that define Halo hold a special place in my heart.
