I wouldn't call it a downgrade. It is just worse because now the only ps3 you can get at the shops are these ones, and they are more expensive for some reason, despite being cheaper to make.
It doesn't really bother me, just that I have a "fat" PS3 and a normal slim, and the slim is playing up. So I'm going to need a new PS3 soon (only use my fat for Backwards compatibility, I worship that thing).

Not that they are bad, but people always remember the old days and forget that times change. Banjo Nuts and Bolts was fun, though not what fans were expecting.

Sadly, yes. My brother ONLY plays it. It's like a sickness. Won't even touch any great games I try getting him into (Bioshock, Borderlands 2, Uncharted...etc.)
As far as MMO's go, it doesn't even look that good compared to many others. Puzzles me TBH. AND it's expensive.

I think it must be. If you were here (n4g) last year September, you would notice that Resistance 3 and Gears of War 3, had page after page of 10/10, rarely you would see anything less. So I'd assume they would have a 99 on META.
It happens for every game, not just Res 3, just was scratching my head at the time.

Metro 2033 definitely worth it. I only bought it this year. If you love intense atmosphere and s gripping story, it is a must buy.
Plus, the sequel is coming out next year. It is also one of the best looking games on PC with highest settings ;)

True. I wish The Darkness 2 got DLC, as it was too short. I'm all for DLC, so long as it is good quality, priced accordingly and isn't sneaky (on disc, day 1 etc.)

I have the GOTY edition of AC2, and those missions felt rushed, like a filler episode of an anime.
What they did was disgraceful. I don't think it was on the disc though. My theory is that they purposely left out 2 DNA strands so they had an excuse for DLC, not that they had already made it and later made you pay for it.
Don't know the circumstances behind it, but either way it highlights everything that is wrong with DLC. ...

I thought this was going to be a simple HD update version when they first announced it, and I was still super excited for it.
Now, it looks so beautiful. They have completely re-done the graphics, and now it looks like the best side-scroller ever. I don't buy many games day 1, but this I am not missing out on for a second.
