In Red Dead redemption, I am able to kill nuns in a church. I am able to kill people in a church in Assassins Creed as well. Maybe we should ban those games?

At last a shooter that actually deserves sales is getting them. The Spartan Ops looks to be a real industry innovation and I think we will see more developers go this fantastic route, just as Gears 2 made Horde a standard.
Halo and Resistance are my 2 favourite shooter series of all time, yet they don't get as many sales as they deserve compared to other rush jobs appealing to everyone and their grandma.

Out of that 120 million they have to pay wages for the 3 year dev cycle, plus shipping, the retailers get a big slice and so on.
I don't really care for profits, just as long as they are rewarded (343 employees) for making one hell of a game.

It wasn't 'hip' to talk that game down. It's just people who liked BF and CoD didn't like it as much as those 2, hence low sales.
Unless of course you think reviewers purposely gave it average reviews just to make a 'hip' discussion out of it.
Fact is, people have different tastes. More people dislike it than people who like it. Doe that make the people who like it wrong? Hell no.

I'm not a fan of CoD, same with MoH. But I think that while it did come first, they have at least been playing catch up to CoD, in some cases copying it. As I said, I don't really like either, although I MIGHT be playing MoH soon as my brother is a fan.
It's like when people said Tribes Ascend looked like Halo, the Tribes fans were squealing. Though Tribes came first, it had more of Quake/Unreal feel, so technically it did look like Halo, not the other way round. ...

It wasn't unplayable, but they did screw up. Still couldn't get rid of the tearing. I don't trust EA, as they promised that they would give the PS3 extra physics (take advantage of the cell) but it seemed to me it was another false promise, copy/paste port.
I thought they might have been the first multi-plat dev to really take advantage of the PS3 cell architecture, but I was wrong....and they are liars. Never again EA.
Yet to play Forza Horizon and Forza 4. Are they worth it?
I still play Gran Turismo 5 a lot, and also Forza 3.
Horizon looks pretty different so I might get it.
Prey. Had one of the best soundtracks of all time, but is never mentioned due to low sales. You have to listen to the whole thing. It is epic without a doubt.

I hope the franchise continues. Who would like to see a more realistic looking Darksiders? Sort of more God Of War style? (2 completely different games, but people seem to tie the both, as did I for your reading pleasure :)

They should bring in a law that says you must have 'X' amount of reviews a week before release.
I have wasted my money before, and you feel cheated by the publisher. Reviews aren't everything, but they are definitely a guidline to how good or bad a game usually is.
