Yes, it was amazing. I was thinking they would have to rush the last episode, but somehow they managed to fit it in without it feeling rushed.
I think every Halo fan that didn't want a movie because they thought it would be ruined is now hoping for one after FuD. My favourite Episode was probably 3. The First encounter type of feeling. My heart has never beat so much. That episode had my glued to the TV.

Agreed. Games that came pretty close IMO were FF7 and Halo (didn't like FPS until CE came out).
OOT will never be dethroned. Maybe it was blind luck, never to be repeated. Either way, it was one hell of a game. Games these days are so rapidly different, it would be hard to compare. Even to this date it is still unique.

Reach was a prequel to Halo: CE, and didn't feature the Master Chief (well, only for an easter egg). Halo and Master Chief go hand in hand.
Reach has done a bit over 9 million sales, although it had higher pre-orders than Halo 4. Halo 4 will probably surpass it, but that depends on if Black Ops 2 is good or not, as CoD fans might not want to jump ship.
1 million pre-orders is popular in my book.
Games like Dishonored, Xcom, Darksiders 2, Sleeping dogs will probably never sell as much as Halo 4 in its first week. And they are actually great games.
It isn't the biggest game, but certainly is the 2nd biggest this year (behind CoD).

People hate on CoD because it is too similar. Halo has always changed (except for ODST, which was still excellent IMO).
I don't like CoD, but I also don't hate on it like some people. Though the reason I don't like it myself is because they are too similar. They are still good games though.

Agreed. Disk space is the main issue this gen. I wonder if Microsoft will have their own unique storage (unlikely) or will succumb to blu-ray. Microsoft might have to forget their pride and use blu-ray, as I can't really think of anything else.

Because it is an exclusive. People hate what they can't have, it's jealousy. They know Halo is superb, they are just trying to convince themselves that they don't want or need it, when deep down they know they do.
Happens to Wii, PS3 and PC games as well. Some people never grow up. I pity them, as I know that THEY are missing out. The 90 Metacritic score for this game agrees.

No point in arguing. Exclusives always get 10x the hate as any multiplat game (cod excluded).
Whether it be Uncharted, Metroid, Halo etc. Some people can't accept the fact that they are some of the best games ever made, but they let blind loyalty get in the way of their decisions.

If you don't like a game, it doesn't mean it is very buggy and messy (which a 5/10 would indicate).

No, you are wrong. Everyone knows that Halo increases AI on harder difficulties. It waqs even in one of their interviews.
Heroic is when most of it comes in, the strategies and what not, and Legendary is more so a power up.

Just so you know, I actually own no Activision games this gen. I don't purposely avoid them because it's Activision, it's just that none of their games interest me.
EA has many good games under their belt, but they do everything Activision do and more. Is it a CoD thing?
