you statement is flawed, if the 360 was so much more powerful it would be easy to port over to the ps3. Power has nothing to do with it, they simply are not familiar with sony's hardware cause in many cases its the first of its kind. There is always a learning curve with new technology

this is just a more creative way of saying that when developers make the ps3 the lead platform the end result comes out better for both systems. Is this really anything new that hasn't already been discovered and discussed? This is nothing more than a somewhat negative spin on old news.

I was under the impression that HD-dvd was always cheaper than blu-ray so i don't think price if a factor. I don't think the public is really that educated on the difference between the two. The other day I was in bestbuy in the HD-section. I had a sales guy walk up to me and ask if i needed help, i told him i had a ps3 and might consider getting that cheap hd-player. First he told me that the cheap HD-player only went up to 1080i, then he told me i should go for one of the higher priced mode...
i got my first iPod today for black friday, i got the 16gb on sale for 350. I love my psp btw but the touch is so much better (for music that is) cause the psp felt real weird in my pocket. Can anyone tell me how to hack the touch?

@1.2: Your statement reeks of troll sh1tt, previous reports stated the the 360 version accounted for 67 percent assuming its only console sales. That leaves 33 percent for the ps3, so that leaves a max estimated 330k min 200k.

I have never in my career as a gamer heard of a game being scored down cause enemies are too difficult. If thats the case all of the recent ninja gaidens should have gotten fours cause they were hard as he11 especially "Black". Seems they couldn't find many real problems so they BS'ed a couple

How would a price drop from Microsoft effect Nintendo?. The Wii would still be cheaper. I think by dropping the price of the 360 in response to Sony would be a sign of weakness on Microsoft since they still currently have 3 skews under 400$ (arcade being one of them). If they cant compete with Sony at its current higher price range then that shows you Sony still has a lot of power, and proves the point that ps3 fans have been saying all along "PRICE IS AND WAS THE ONLY BARIER"
@3.5, personally i feel that VF5 didn't sell on the ps3 because of online, and tekken. I have always favored tekken over VF so the fact that they went multi-plat makes no difference to me. i own it but never play it. It probably wont sell to well on 360 either since its swarmed with FPS so i don't really see the advantage. last i checked COD4 is multipalt, so by my count the PS3 has two "AAA" fps resistance being the other. Your statement reaks of Troll-sh1t
It weird, they say that the ps3 version suffers a "tiny bit" graphically but it scored higher in that department than the 360. I'm not flamin but its an observation
i disagree MK_Red, first the 360 didn't outsell the ps3 by that much at most 300 units you might as well call it even. I know Xbox fans would if those were NA figures and it was the other way around. Ace did push 360 sales but the only reason it was on par with the ps3 is because it was a week before a price drop and the introduction of a new color. I think color was a driver for the simple fact its exclusive and the first color change to date.

well with 66k sold in one day, and the 360 most likely going back to it 3k a week role in japan i wouldnt be so sure if i were you
Edit: @7.3 are you talking Japan or U.S cause in japan i beleive the xbox is already cheaper. And the only reason it sold on par with the ps3 is because it was the week before a price drop.

no matter if you want to play this to the left of the right, this could be a very posative step for the ps3, if developers can get better results by useing the ps3 as the lead platform both consoles win. I dont understand why this would be seen as something negative for either system. Better yet, ps3 fans wont have to wait for delayed games.
