@ 1.1 i could be wrong but i do believe the ps3 has the biggest install base in the U.S. than it has in other countries. It may not be leading the american market to date but it is doing very well given the competition that it has. The same cant be said with the 360 in japan where it preceded the other two systems by a year.
well if you think about it, sony has denied every price drop and even the 40gig sku. So i take that official denial with a grain of salt, it may not happen next week but it will happen eventually. Personally i think they should wait and counter MS when and if they do a price drop.
what does that have to do with anything?
Although i agree with pretty much all the above, you guys shouldnt count out the U.S. Sure sony is not on top at the moment, but despite all that the U.S still accounts for the most systems sold as far as regions go. Trust me there is a very high demand for the ps3 its just overshadowed by a larger percentage of uninformed broke people.

where do you get your info, last i checked the ps3 was outselling the 360 worldwide by like 25k units.

maybe you should make some friends on psn, i know i need to. lets face it, live will always have the advantage if no-one is willing to make friends on psn. For anyone who cares my psn tag is bruiser81 and i will be getting this game day 1 if i can find it.
ps. the ds3 for this game is awsome
elines: i got my rumble controller for christmas so yeah ps owners have an option to get rumble if they really want it, even the burnout demo is rumble enabled. Ps3 may not have a concrete system for it but most of their games have achievements warhawk and uncharted being great examples. Plus ps3 gamers are lucky with this game cause they get the same online gaming experience with this game as the 360 and its free
The think the point this article is trying to make is extremely flawed. The wii is the #1 system in the world (the biggest userbase) but sell 3rd party software horribly. The ps3 may not yet be on par with the 360 when it comes to software sales but its ahead of the wii in 3rd party sales with COD4 and AC alone. Lets face it, at this point no matter what sony does they are going to be criticized. They were criticized for the price point then for their proce drops, then is was that they had n...
yeah but i thought that was the whole point of buyiung a console, and essentially separated a console from a pc. I'm not saying you dont have a point, but personally i want it all in one when it comes to video game, i dont want to constanly go out and buy upgrades and add-ons i want to get it right the first time and be done with it. Thats what turned me off when i had ps2 and xbox 1, it came with the hard-drive built in. I never bought the add-on for the ps2
Yes, but there is still one big stipulation and thats the price a the blu-ray add-on. if the ps3 has a price drop and the 360 add-on is a xtra 200 dollars, that would put the 360 at a disadvantage. even if they drop the 360 to 250 when you add the add-on thats 450. Its a win win for sony either way.
sony could care less about the player, its the format their pushing. Their are already standalone blu-ray player not made by sony, its the format that makes sony the money not the hardware playing it.
this site is not biased, the ps3 took piles and piles of sh1t slinging last summer its just the 360's turn. Next it will be the wii
well if your gonna mention the great halo 3 then i have to mention resistance which for some reason (not that is disagree) is giving both halo and COD4 a run for their money and its over a year old. Unless they are pack-ins which i don't think they are.
i imported a white one for christmas and let me tell you, you haven't played warhawk if you don't have a DS3
The same way it survived before the 40gig, with a higher price point, and negative media. A price drop from MS wont kill the ps3 for the simple fact the 360 is already cheaper. An by the 360 being cheaper and MS dropping the price cause the ps3 is starting to gain at their respective price points only proves what everyone is say. The ps has a lot more selling power. And do you actually think sony hasn't thought of this, its there job to forecast and monitor the competition thats what business...
Sony extended an invitation for both MS and Toshiba to join the blu-ray camp last summer, it was they who were being difficult. If MS did want to join the Sony band waggon why on earth do you think they was say no? It would benefit them more than it would MS, I thought that was the whole point of being in business TO MAKE MONEY. The only ones who take this Sony VS MS war personal are fanboys.
why does this guy always state the obvious, i never see him go out on a limb he always stays very safe. For example when everyone was speaking of all the gloom and doom with the ps3 he was right with them. now that its doing better he say something like he knew it would all along. I personally don't see him as being very credible.
i was thinking the exact same thing, there are a lot of double standards these days
