I agree with you 100 percent, however i dont think sony is financially ready for the ps3 to sell like the wii. think about it, keeping the price between expensive and cheap enables them to control the flow a bit better. If they are still loosing money on the production of the machine i would think the last thing they want "AT THIS STAGE IN TIME" would be for it to sell like the wii. Financially their gaming department would go under and drain the others. At least thats my theory any...

I do believe that the 360 has had more than a 50$ price cut, the pro was originally 399.99 and the arcade 299.99. Thats a diff of 100$

Um i dont think that we will be downloading MGS4 any time soon, so no it wasnt BS. Downloading games would be a convenient pain cause eventually you run out of space and its not like to can just swap hard drives in and out of the ps3 "WITHOUT REFORMATTING IT FIRST" I dont think sony will do this for their first party games cause they tend to be bigger
Ever since the first trailer i saw of this game i have wondered if sony plans to release the soundtrack for this game like they did with pixel monster. I love the music from pretty much every trailer that i have seen, and for me that add to the total experience of it0

Similar with me, i preferred n64 over ps1, then i got a dreamcast and loved it, then i got a ps2 loved it even more, i got the first xbox cause i loved DOA3, then i got a Gamecube only for the resident evils, than the ps2 stopped reading discs and that really pissed me off, traded the ps2 in for ninja gaiden.

Maybe 'most' PS3 owners are true gamers,open minded and secure enough to appreciate what each system has to offer. My assumption is that most wii gamers are younger kids that have to depend on what their parents buy them and play what they have.
I am a gamer not a fanboy who is not ashamed or too proud to admit when a system has flaws, if any of my other two systems gives me problems i wont sugar coat it for them either.
I can only blame MS so much for this prob though, why should they fix this problem when they have so many fanboys out there who wont even admit the inconvenience of having to deal with undependable hardware. The 360 is a very good system, but far from perfect.

You are 100% correct i own all 3 systems so no im not a "360" fan. i get where your coming from, but ps3 users not buying certain multi-plats only helps the 360. I know it sucks either way, but the only reason 360 get royal treatment is because its perceived to bring in a bigger cash flow.A lot of 360 owners buy games they dont even like to support their system, i have a lot of dumb friends who do so. What does that have to do with the point i was trying to make. They did it that way probably so they could same money, as if their not loosing enough already. And i have a 20 with no headset so even if they did have and official one doesnt mean we wouldnt have to pay for it
Why should they if you can use most any blue-tooth head set, it saves in production costs. Besides its only been a year and a half, not 2.5

I hope the other two companies dont follow MS lead and start putting patents on everything. Nobody would get anywhere, nintendo was the first with rumble, sony the first with dual analog controllers on a console all of which are standard on all three systems. I love xbox but hate MS tactics. Kinda makes it hard for me to root for them when deep down i dont think their dominance will server the gaming community well at all
