Got no problem paying for the expansion, but to charge $30 for me to upgrade to the PS5 version when LOTS of developers give that option for FREE kinda whack. To me it should've been a free upgrade with then a chance to buy the DLC for $30 or however much dollars they value it at.

In no way am I defending EA, but they do a pretty good job with cross-gen stuff. Usually offsetting the older systems to a smaller team on an older build of Frostbite, while giving the main team, in this case DICE LA the project only on the newer systems.
Wasn't it the PS crowd that kept saying over and over again how keeping games Cross-gen like how Xbox planned to with its first 2-3 years of the Series X, a bottleneck that did now allow the games to show their true potential hence diminishing the reasons for why you would even want to own a Series X? And now all of a sudden cross-gen games are going to be maximizing PS5 hardware? LMFAO
GT7 is a cross-gen game, ain't no way its matching the level of fidelity a true next-gen title will have
The lighting seems like the only area they actually improved for the Dunia engine. This really doesn't look that good graphically at least lol
The game's biggest improvement seems to be in the lighting and water simulation, especially the indirect lighting which seems like it got a massive upgrade. Sucks that its coming to the PS4 too, woulda loved to see it just being made with the PS5 in mind
Hopefully the graphics take a huge leap from BF5 with it being a next-gen exclusive
