Its a shame that 3speech had to resort to these sort of remarks.
Major Nelson does a great job communicating information to xbox users as well as creating a great podcast. He has discussed the whole 'blogcast' name a number of times and his reasoning behind calling it that.
I am glad that Sony has distanced themselves from the comments.

Home has potential but there hardly any information available at the moment about what will be available at launch.
Microsoft, in my opinion, can make Home pointless by implementing group voice chat (outside games). I am pretty certian that they will include it in the Fall update.

Any technological product that has been on the market for a year and a half without a price drop will hit a wall. There are only so many people that are willing to buy a product at 'full price'.

Completely agree with the casual games point, the 360 needs more casual games and i think you will start to see more when the price begins to drop. A casual gamer will never pay $400 - $600 for a games console. However $200 - $300 is the price area where they will start buying. This is also the reason i do not have much hope for SingStar as its coming out in the wrong period of the PS3 life cycle (the PS3's Viva Pinata if you will).

No one can argue against that the 360 has/is reaching market saturation at its current price point. The 360 is due a price drop (inline with the PS2 price drop) so expect one at E3. If it doesn't happen at E3 then i think MS will have missed an opportunity for long terms gains and opted for short term higher profits.

Wii - sales have drop but still great. Game sales are also good but I still see this as a 2/3 year console. I also guess the numbers dont interest me as I have no interest in buying a Wii.

users have been uploading saved games and buying/selling/gifting to other xbox users so they can improve their gamer score.
Microsoft found a way to discover which users where doing this and corrupted their saved files.
The users are now fighting back by using a mod that allows then to trade game saves without the fear of Microsoft banning them.
Thats my understanding of the situation anyway ;)
I think the no connection to host problem has been happening for a while now.
I have seen the Marcus problem but it usually sorts it self out whilst in the waiting room.
