LOLOLOL
I personally think SE is getting a lot of flack for the exclusivity with Xbox. I too was like, wut??? But honestly, I'm really looking forward to picking this one up. Watched a bit of gameplay on youtube, and it actually does look like a great game. To me, though, it's a lot different than the previous reboot. But in a good way. It looks like, (key words, looks like), it brings back a lot of the old school Tomb Raider aspects that were in the original games. So yeah, I plan on getting...
My wallet hates me every year around this time.
AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The dev police over here lol.
Holy smokes, I love it! Whenever a company delays a game, I'm actually extremely happy. This means they've realized there are issues and are willing to put in more time to fix those said issues. Kudos to them man. SE usually drops the ball, but this is some great news.
The score tells me I shouldn't read this review, because I've only ever played one game that warranted a low score like that in my entire life. I don't even remember the name of that game it was so bad.
What bothers me is the extremely high priced DLC. That's just insane. $50 for DLC??? Are you serious right now? That's just trying to one up Bungie for their ridiculous $40 Destiny Expansion. If devs think money grows on trees, then I can understand why th...
I don't get it, I feel like I'm the only one that never experiences crashes on games. I'm sure I'll run into one eventually. What kind of PC specs are these people reporting having used? I've got an i7-4900, gtx 970, 16GB of RAM, and plenty of HDD space on an ASUS Maximus MB. I feel like that's kind of the standard at this point. I'm also using Windows 7. I've read that a lot of users are having issues with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
I actually got a nice dose of Tomb Raider footage on youtube the other day and it does actually look good tho. It reminds me of the old Tomb Raider games, instead of the last installment where Lara is lost on an island. However, Fallout 4 owns my life for the time being. I don't have an Xbox One simply because I just spent $1500 on a pc. So ROTR will be a next year buy for PS4 for me.
Anyone wondering, though, just saying, Tomb Raider does look good and might be a decent ...
Judge Dredd armor for the main character, not for the armor power suit, because that wouldn't make sense obviously lol. But I've wanted someone to do a Judge Dredd armor mod for a bunch of games, and this one just seems perfect.
It'd also be cool if we could get some vehicles... not sure if they have vehicles in the game already though, haven't gotten that far into it yet.
With Fallout 4 out now, no one is playing Destiny lol. Their matchmaking rooms are probably so empty right now.
I originally purchased GTAV on PS3, then repurchased it on PS4, then recently sold my PS4 copy and got it again on PC, and I don't regret it at all. Finally got a full weekend of gaming sessions in with my bro, and it's hands down the best looking game I've played on PC so far. They even let me transfer my character a third time, so I've had the same online character since GTAV's inception. If you don't have this game, I highly recommend it.
Sucks for those last gen gamers. Time to start saving some money and upgrade their systems. Because sadly, shortly there will be no more games in general for last gen consoles. Current gen consoles have been out for several years now, at some point developers will stop developing for last gen consoles. And it's not like they're lying, last gen consoles do lack the memory to handle these DLC packs. Would it be fair to create a whole new set of DLC packs for last gen consoles? Maybe. Bu...
Hey man, he is kind of right. Video games are suppose to have intrigue, action, a forward direction. I watched several people play it on youtube and twitch, and all they could say about it was how it felt very linear without a lot of deviation from the main point of the game, which is, in fact, running away from an alien. When you think about the movies, they all had an undertone subplot that drove the story line. In the game, I think you play as Ripley's daughter, investigating what happ...
I know people hate people who say this, but PC is the way to go. I finally broke down and built a PC and I must say, I have thoroughly enjoyed having a PC. Being able to purchase games super cheap through third party sites is so rewarding. I mean, for instance, I bought a code off G2A.com for the first Dead Space for $0.69. Yeah, that's not a typo. It's still listed on Steam for $19.99. I'll never overpay for a video game ever again, unless it's a PS4 exclusive obviously.
I understand evolution, and how it coincides with everything in this world. But the gaming industry doesn't need to evolve. SquareEnix keeps trying new things and it's smearing their name in the mud. If this is true and it was squashed, they need to learn from their mistakes and stop trying all these new ideas that aren't necessary.
Seriously dude, completely agree! I'm tired of companies thinking they can get away with trying new dumb stuff. Heck, I was even against DLC when it started to become a thing.
If it isn't broken, don't fix it!
People keep saying "Oh I've spent thousands of hours playing Destiny, which is why I don't mind the price tag." That's just an excuse. I've spent thousands of hours on games I've spent $40 on. Versus $130, $140. But please, go on, support their money grabbing business model.
It's sad that some people are so blind to see the reality. The Taken King was probably made and ready to roll out at the same time Destiny originally launched. And how th...
The only DLC for any game, ever, should be additional missions or an extension to the main story. Cosmetic stuff, weapons, etc should be free in my opinion. CDProjekt has the right idea.
Well that's the problem, Destiny isn't a true MMO. It's an FPS with an MMO feel to it. Bungie and Activision like to pretend it's an MMO, but it isn't. Trust me. It definitely isn't. And the extra 40 bucks they want from me they aren't getting. The only way I'll buy another Destiny game is if it's only for current gen consoles (Xbone, PS4) and PC, and it's a GOTY edition. I'll never buy their game then buy the DLC only to find out I could've wai...
LOL, that's hilarious.
