Thing is, most people expected that after GTAIV, its multiplatform, and developed on 360, the same will most likely happen with L.A. Noire. The thing is, its a multiplatform game. Because the big difference between inFamous and Crackdown is, inFamous was a excellent game, it didn't need a beta to increase sales, crackdown drop to like $20 6 months after release or so. Unless that target that I saw the whole stockpile of it just wanted to get rid of the inventory.
360 has more sold consoles, all those consoles don't belong to 1 single person, RRoD caused many 360 owners to rebuy the console, especially around the launch time, when RRoD wasn't in the warranty, and continues today.
Its much better on a smartphone, but I guess having it on consoles isn't so bad.
