Now that the sarcasm is done, THANK GOD( or who ever you believe on) they didnt choose activision. We would have seen a game from them like every six months. Going with EA was a smart move.
With all the rumors it was kind of clear that this was going to happen. The Bungie deal was a gigaton, no one saw it coming. Glad to see Insomniac try to get more revenue. The best part is that its their IP so if it doesnt work in their favor they can always bring ot back to who?...Boom!
What does it mean? it means that Insomniac is testing the multiplatform market with 1 new game. Trolls, your not getting Ratchet, your not getting Resistance, same way PS3 aint getting Halo. What you are getting is a brand new IP that will be fun and exciting just like its other 2 IPs. The only thing i fear is DVD9's limitations on it. Seriously, there is way less damage control with Insomniac than with Bungie.
I dont get why some PS3 fans are bothered by them going multiplatform, like we really didnt see it coming, they're still doing R&C and R3 so its a win win situation, they get more money, we get a new IP plus 2 other great franchises

Why are they better? Because they just simply are. Better hardware, AAA developer talent, variety, all of that explains it all really.

Was it just some big coincidence that both GT5 and Move had a Spring release and both just happen to get pushed back to Fall? No Sony releasing GT5 as a Move launch title is pure GENIOUS! What better way to launch a new periphial than with one of the companies top if not top franchises.

The game is developed on PS3, they will both look good, if anything PS3 will look better
Going from your logic then, Natal wont do well because it cant do FPS or Halo. The maint point for Wii is the casual audience, Mario, zelda, metroid etc are basically Wii's hardcore games, Move can do both at a better level.
