I doubt many third party publishers the next generation will want to make special deals. That would be a big money loser. The PS4 will end up with a lot more sales so why sign a deal with Microsoft? Is Microsoft going to give them all $100 million to be exclusive to them? It would cost a lot to get it. Nobody would do it for a mediocre $10 million.

Xbox 180? Does that mean he thinks it will be half as powerful as the 360?

At least it's just the name of a trophy. No big deal. It's not like they're taking a scene out of the game. It is dumb but I don't blame Sony for wanting it to go away.

The Wii U isn't part of the next generation.

Nintendo is horrible though. They have a few game series and every generation it's the same thing over and over. Really boring.

COD is different though. And it's just like Madden games. I don't play either of them. But Uncharted is far from needing to end unless Naughty Dog wants to move on. And the Lego games are fun. I don't see a reason for those games to end. Each one is different. You get a lot for your money on those games too. If you do everything in the games it takes a lot of time.

If it's about the games Sony will win for sure. Microsoft doesn't have much in that department. They mostly need third party develop support now. And I think those people will all really push the PS4. Microsoft wasn't thinking when they got rid of so many of their first party studios.

If Pachter thinks the Xbox will win that just means the PS4 will win. He's always wrong on these predictions.

I hated these stupid articles. I'm not tired of Uncharted or the Lego games. If people are tired of them they won't sell. Then it's time to move on.

We? Good grief. I think you're in denial though. The PC industry is dying. It used to be about making things bigger and faster but that ended a few years ago. Nothing much has changed lately. Not enough to get most people to upgrade. I built my computer about three years ago and it's good enough for everything I need. I refuse to waste a lot of money upgrading it every year or two. Better to spend a little on a console and not worry about upgrades.

Why waste money constantly upgrading your PC if you can buy a PS4 for what you'd pay for a top graphics card? It's a waste of money to spend so much money upgrading your computer every year or two.

Did you replace the hard drive? I just wonder if putting a faster drive in mine killed it. A couple months after I installed the my PS3 died. Faster drives make more heat. I haven't had trouble with my Slim model. I replaced the hard drive but installed a 5400 RPM drive just to be safe.

To be fair early PS3s also had a problem. If they got too hot you could get the YLOD. I had that problem a little less than two years after I bought mine. I did put a 7,200 RPM hard drive in it right before it died though so that might have created too much heat. I think both consoles just had too much heat in them early on. That shouldn't be a problem this time since so many things have changed the last few years. The parts put out less heat now.

Even a price drop won't get me to buy a Wii U. I don't really care about Nintendo games so I don't want it for that. And it's too underpowered for the next generation. Not much reason to buy a Wii U if you don't care about the first party games.

I don't think Sony needs a marketing trick to sell a God of War game. It doesn't make sense to include it in the game if we can't play it until May 31st though. Should just put it on PSN for everyone to play instead.

4756d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Since I got two disagrees and only one agree I guess more people want to play old games. They can stick with the PS3 then and we'll move on to the PS4.

4756d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

It doesn't really mean it will be cheaper. More like other features will be included, like all that RAM.

4757d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

I agree with this. I bet people complaining about this issue also cried over the PS3 being too expensive when it came out. You can't have it both ways. Features cost money. Would you rather be able to play old games on the PS4 or have the 8GB of GDDR RAM? Sony had to choose which features they'd include in their new console. I think they chose right on those two.

4757d ago 4 agree3 disagreeView comment

Hopefully Sony will drop the price of the PS3 way down when the PS4 comes out. Then you could buy a new PS3 eventually if your old one dies. To me Sony is being smart on this though. Long term it's better to have 8GB of GDDR5 RAM than to be able to play PS3 games on the PS4. I think Sony looked at features they could include in the PS4 and decided since developers wanted lots of RAM that was more important.

They wouldn't sell that many vouchers though. If you're buying digital games are you really going to the store to buy a voucher? I wouldn't.
